my parents discovered Rest and played it soooo much this year.  Glad you liked it.  The picks are all the top songs too!

I wanted to enjoy All Saints this year but couldn't get into it :chick3:

Oh wow. I hated Testament, but didn't put it to my worst list because Make U Love Me was my #1 song back then.

album #32 - ALMA, Heavy Rules Mixtape

"If you want some luxury, there is not much I can give than fake Gucci and love"

I didn't really expect to be slayed by some green-eyed thick woman, but thanks to Charli XCX I am :eli: . That release contains only a few tracks, but basically, every one of them is major bop. I'm in love with her voice and simple, but effective pop production makes everything work so good :smitten:  I hope she'll find some success or at least build a fan-base (as Charli for example).

some favorites: Dance for Me, Good Vibes, Fake Gucci

.

single #32 - Silk City ft. Dua Lipa, Electricity

"This love has no ceiling"

Electricity is not the type of bomb you can expect from bop-makers Dua, Diplo and Mark, but its work in own - Dua strong vocals, Diplo electro touch and Mark signature sounds makes this track magical. And I need to admit live performances Dua did for this song are probably the best she did in her career :jonny5:

album #31 - Cher, Dancing Queen

"Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find, I tried to reach for you, but you have closed your mind"

Tbh I wasn't really into idea of releasing entire album of ABBA covers, but Cher proved me wrong. Without any harming of original recordings, but adding her touch with some synth-productions and harmonies made that album as one of the most consecutive pure pop records of the year. Idk if I like her versions more than ABBA ones, since I'm not really fan of the band, but I think she did great job. Probably the only thing that I would've changed is to add more little-known songs to project.

some favorites: The Name of the Game, SOS, One of Us

.

single #31 - Kylie Minogue ft. Jack Savoretti, Music's Too Sad Without You

"You showed me the meaning of love and romance with every song that you played"

The fact that the last time when we get solid Kylie ballad was 2007 always bother me so much, so when I first listen Golden and the closing track was this song, I feel absolutely song. Pure and honest guitar number remains as probably one of my favorites from the album and from Kylie in years. I'm really happy that she gave that song single treatment.

album #30 - Teyana Taylor, K.T.S.E.

"Allow Miss Taylor to sing the blues"

Waiting for this album was almost painfully. She's one of the most talented singers out there and still remains criminally underrated. And ****ing Kanye instead of using all that hype over shitness 7-track concept to promote her, did her so so wrong. Not only we get so few incredibly short tracks after all this time, but we didn't even get one (!) ****ing video for some songs. Ugh, thinking about this album makes me mad. But, on the positive note, this album is incredibly beautiful, chill, classic r&b album, really nice to hear something like this, instead of another bunch of urban bops. And WTP inclusion makes me love her even more! I mean, it's one of the most epic album endings this year

some favorites: No Manners, Rose In Harlem, Never Would Have Made It, WTP

.

single #30 - Janelle Monae, Django Jane

"Black girl magic, y'all can't stand it, y'all can't ban it, made out like a bandit"

Let the vagina have a monologue!
