ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 28, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 only don’t like let you love me in this update. No shame is amazing, pop 2 whew and make me feel slaps so hard
TheWayWeWere Posted December 28, 2018 Author Posted December 28, 2018 . album #5 - Луна (Luna), Остров свободы (Freedom Island) "Ты – раб моих ног / You are the slave of my legs" I know she's probably completely unknown here, but I found her last winter and was completely blown off by her music, artistic image and videos there's something so magical and atmospheric about her. Even tho she already released next album, Island of Freedom remains her magnum opus. Short, minimalistic, effective pop record. some favorites: Free Love, Огонёк (Light), Друг (Friend), Jukebox . single #5 - Ariana Grande, no tears left to cry "I'm lovin', I'm livin', I'm pickin' it up" I was very interested to see how Ari will comeback after Manchester and she handles it amazing! That breezy light pop track shows an optimistic side of a problem and it's amazing, there are enough depressing things out here, we need to get some euphoria even in bad times. . album #4 - Tove Styrke, Sway "You make me wanna make mistakes" Probably one of my most anticipated albums this year since 1-2 punch of Say My Name/Mistakes. And even tho I was supermad about whole 8 track tracklist, this actually works. I mean, every ****ing track on this is pop perfection. Every track sounds like a hit. Every track sounds different from the other Such a great diverse short record. And her version of Liability is something She's so underrated. some favorites: Sway, On the Level, Mistakes, Liability . single #4 - Kylie Minogue, Stop Me from Falling "Somehow we've always been together, but never got together" This was a grower for me, I don't really like it at first, but album release, video release and everything kinda helped me to get into this. And this song is actually gold It has such a nice, heartwarming feeling to it, it gives me so much joy and happiness.
ATRL Moderator kelly-clarkson Posted December 28, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 No Tears Left To Cry it's amazing Also the MV of NTLTC it's my favorite one of Ariana
Eeveelution Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 No Tears Left to Cry... a big bop as the kids say. Stop Me is not it but Kylie stanning is always appreciated. The Liddo US Girls have been trying it lately.
Remmy Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 no tears left to cry, a solid bop! Sway is great, never heard of her before this year and I'm glad I didn't because I wasn't feeling her previous material at all Sway + On a Level The other two are... interesting choices for your standouts
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 28, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 NTLTC Dancing > SMFF
Green Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 no tears left to cry is one of her best songs Stop Me from Falling was cute, especially thanks to the video.
potent Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Say My Name by Tove was great, I've yet to check the rest of her material though! I kinda stopped checking for Kylie this year after Dancing
Blue Rose Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 I like NTLTC. Wish it banged a little more for my own personal taste.
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 29, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 29, 2018 The Luna album this year was a little disappointing for me ? BUT I did discover her this year and still love her depressed russian lady vibes. Free Love is great. OMG not stop me from falling. Not joking it might make my worst of list
Monky_2405 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Sweetener collecting yet another Top 10 Stop Me From Falling ?

TheWayWeWere Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 . album #3 - Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper, A Star Is Born Soundtrack "Don't wanna give my heart away to another stranger" The stunning soundtrack for a stunning movie. Such a nice surprise with both film and its music, this album includes all ups and downs of protagonists and such a living-like experience with it. Amazing work by both Bradley and Gaga! some favorites: I'll Never Love Again, Before I Cry, Heal Me, Look What I Found, Why Did You Do That? . single #3 - Lily Allen ft. Giggs, Trigger Bang "Everyone knows what cocaine does, numbing the pain when the shame comes" One of the best leads of the year. Biographic minimalistic pop bop touched me from the first listen and amazing MV just put this on the even higher level. I hate how GP let this song flop . album #2 - Paloma Faith, The Architect "The one thing I'm good at is messing up somebody else" One of my all-time favorite British artists released probably her most diverse and ambitious record. Fabolous pop star singing about politics and self-empowerment in disco, jazzy, rock-opera alike sounds. Ugh, this album is pure gold. It includes some of her best songwritings. It still amazes me how she remains so underrated after releasing one masterpiece after another since 2009. some favorites: The Architect, Kings and Queens, Warrior , Final Breath, Tonight’s Not the Only Night . single #2 - Kylie Minogue, Dancing "When the final curtain falls, we could say we did it all" Who can sing about life and death breezy pop track other than Kylie? Amazing pop record with some of my favorite Kylie's songwriting in years. Extremely catchy hook and chorus makes this even better . album #1 - Kylie Minogue, Golden "Even when it hurts there's nothing on earth I wouldn't do for you" Kylie created one of her finest works after 00s 30 years into a career is an achievement After KMO I really wanted her to back to form, to something actually inspiring and different from her usual pop sound. And going pop-country routine suits her amazingly. Album is fun, lighthearted, smart-written, grown record by one of the pop icons. Very proud of this. And this is such a pleasure to see her happiness to perform songs from it. some favorites: Shelby '68, Raining Glitter, Sincerely Yours, Lost Without You, One Last Kiss . single #1 - Tove Styrke, Changed My Mind "I'm gonna fight myself and lose myself and find myself" Yeah, it's kinda random, but even I didn't realize that I listen to this song so many times this year and it was such a success on my YTT. But this is actually one of my favorite pop tracks of the year. More poppish than SMN or Mistakes, Tove remains true to her style and sound. Mellow, autotune inspired bop about love saga with a hell of a chorus and great hook. Slay, Tove
