God these graphics are GORGEOUS! Shook. :jonny5:

2002 is a cute song but I don't like anything else from Miss Anne-Marie. I'm not much of a Caution fan but that graphic you made makes the album look really exciting and sexy. Now I suddenly wanna get into it. :jonny4:

album #12 - Tove Lo, BLUE LIPS (Lady Wood Phase II)

"I say hi, you say hi, we stay high"

Tove providing us with one of the best pop songs for a while now, Blue Lips which serves as a continuation of her Lady Wood album don't reach the highs of LW, but more cohesive and more interesting in terms of sound. It's such a shame she stays so underrated.

some favorites: Shivering Gold, Hey You Got Drugs?, Struggle, Stranger

.

single #12 - Paloma Faith, Til I’m Done

"I won't save you when I'm weak, only got so much left to give"

It's always big news when one of your favorite tracks from album choice as a single. TID was my instand favorite from The Architect and video along with promo performances only rises my love to it. Disco bop with amazing vocals snatched my wig :jonny4:

album #11 - Janelle Monáe, Dirty Computer

"Remember when they told you I was too black for ya?"

Janelle creates another masterpiece in her career. After a big break since Electric Lady she came back with another concept album, now different from Metropolis storyline. She meshed up very different genres - from pop to rap, from r&b to soul, from disco to funk. An amazing journey to watch the movie and listen to that album. Very very proud of recognition she gets with this.

some favorites: Crazy Classic Life, Screwed, I Like That, Americans

single #11 - Ariana Grande, God is a woman

"Yuh"

Female empowerment songs can be in trap pop genre, Ariana proves this with this major bop. Even tho I wasn't really into song at first, it became a big grower for me, especially with epic video release and VMA performance.

AND THE TOP 10

.

album #10 - Mitski, Be the Cowboy

"Does it smell like a school gymnasium in here?"

I discovered this girl thanks to ATRL's Best Of two years ago and she slayed me. Now, she released probably her best effort - that combines both her vulnerable lyrics with pop sounds, alternative midtempos, angry rock anthems and disco bops. Absolute masterpiece.

some favorites: Geyser, A Pearl, Washing Machine Heart, Two Slow Dancers

.

single #10 - Robyn, Honey

"Stuck in glitter, strands of saliva"

I refused to listen to Girls snippet for a long time, but finally gave up with Missing U release and **** :jonny: how on earth she creates this masterpiece :jonny: And even tho final version differs from Girls one, the song remains flawless, full of soul classic house dancefloor anthem is full of sex and pleasure. It is honey for your ears. Probably one of the best productions on the track this year.
