Some really good choices here already :clap3:

I'm familiar with quite a few of these but my fave would have to be Next Time/Humble Pie!

Dula Peep snapping her way into the top, tho one kiss is probably the most overplayed summer song in europe by far. It was constantly on mtv and on radio and everywhere else. Uh.

lykke li snapped.

I'll take it over all of the TRASH that plays on the radio here tbh.

The first three deserved better, but recognition is recognition

With emerald rush it would have been higher earlier in the year but after listening to his (boring af noah fence) album I barely used.

omg you snapped with these

WTP ( a bop), curiousity (baby daddy better seed me to this one),  immortelle,  mooo, natalie prass,  hayley (one of my faves on her album), rosalia, one kizz, wish, deep end.. noname

nn yes Curiosity is that sex bop, NAO does those so well.

the Natalie, Internet, Teyana JPEG, Say Lou Lou and Daughters picks are all great but MØ? in 2018?

also deep end over hard rain this is a personal insult

Punish me king.

Dom

I don't use MO's album but she snapped on those last three songs.

deep end STOMPS on hard rain btw.

I don't wanna spoil much but 1-2 of these deserved top 50.

Also, Deep End > Hard Rain is correct.

I think you stan One Kiss right? Maybe that and Emerald Rush?

We're on the winning team.

I see some classics :clap3: I always find it hard to stan for individual songs in these lists but there are a lot of good picks here already :clap3:

They really snapped on the Humble Pie segment especially.

Yeah it deserved more love. :'(

Kanye and his antics really wronged Teyana.

Illumination was one of the last additions to the list, it grew on me a lot from when I first heard knock knock, so maybe it deserved higher. With WTP I kind of forgot Teyana's album after a week so I just didn't play it as much as higher songs.

We don't support Luke apologists in this house. :fan: I didn't care for her cheap 2011'd music anyways.

The only song on Immortelle that's maybe better is All Love to Me. :-*

50. CupcakKe  - "Duck Duck Goose"

From: Ephorize

0XugjfD.jpgI could talk about how much I love this track, but instead I’ll leave some select lines here for y’all:

  • I only call you Captain, 'cause your dick is off the hook
  • This that submarine *****, Mr. Clean ***** / This that I'm 'bout to **** you longer than the limousine *****
  • Cut the dick off, took it home with me / 'Cause any dick that long, it belong with me

49. A.A.L. - "Rave On U"

From: 2012-2017

coTU6by.jpgThis song was first released in 2015, though it personally came to my attention as the closer of Against All Logic’s creatively-titled deep house eleganza extravaganza, 2012-2017, so I’m including it here. The 10 minute track serves as a real victory lap for one of 2018’s few good electronic albums. Rave on U is probably the song that resonated with me the most in spite of its length. Nicolas could rave on me anytime x

48. Frankie Cosmos - "Being Alive"

From: Vessel

VNkVJ5i.jpgbeing alive / matters quite a bit / even when you / feel like s**t” is a simple, yet profound statement from Ms. Greta Kline. I mean, did she lie? Frankie Cosmos’s brand of bedroom pop can be considered lovably rough around the edges at best and lackadaisical and unfinished at worst, but this song hits the mark for me, even if the band members did not hit all those notes. The song's post-West Coast structure of energetic verses collapsing into a slow chorus really sells this for me.

47. Vince Staples - "Get the **** off My Dick"

From: N/A

XCEVOTA.jpgUnpopular opinion maybe but this was easily my favourite thing Vince did this year. It’s very well-produced in a different way than Big Fish Theory was; I particularly love the different piano lines that sort of run into each other throughout the song. Vince himself really snapped on this track also, especially toward the end.

46. Christine and the Queens - "Doesn't Matter"

From: Chris

O5mzSxQ.jpgI really wanted to enjoy Chris, but ultimately the album left me quite cold. It was just… tasteful synthpop but in French. Props to her for finessing all of the critics with free garageband beats I guess... Anyway, a broken clock is right twice a day, and both Doesn’t Matter and its French-language counterpart are excellent pop songs. The song’s hook: “It doesn’t matter, does it / if I believe in God and if God does exist?” will make you wonder if you should be bopping or questioning the meaning of life instead. See also: "What's-Her-Face"

Rave On U has some points. Wasn't that into A.A.L honestly, but i'm still anticipating another album from Jaar himself though.

I heard GTFOMD maybe once or twice and it sounded just like a standalone. Doesn't Matter is the standout, yes.

i thought i came but i peed on the dick... would say modern shakespeare but why downgrade cupcakke like that

didn't care for gtfomd when it dropped but it popped off live, feeling her now
