(100) "My Blood" - twenty one pilots.

Twenty one pilots came back with several new bops this year, and I'm not complaining.

I think this is a great song ; I almost thought it was Foster The People or some other band when I first heard it.

(99) "Trust My Lonely" - Alessia Cara.

As someone who absolutely adored Alessia's debut era, her most recent release failed to impress me.

This is genuinely the only song that I really love from the album.

(98) "Genius" - LSD.

I think this trio is absolutely genius (no pun intended) - they make absolute magic.

This song spent some time on my chart earlier this year, and I'm just getting into it again, enough for it to re-chart.

(97) "Him & I" - G-Eazy x Halsey.

I wouldn't say that I necessarily hate this song, but I wouldn't say I love it either.

I think it was a pretty decent collab, but got super overplayed.

(96) "Lost In Japan" - Shawn Mendes.

This is definitely one of my favorite Shawn songs ever.

I think it flows very well and he delivers lots of quality.

(95) "Skywalker" - Miguel ft. Travis Scott.

It definitely took me by surprise that I liked this song.

Definitely a bop that I enjoy listening to when I'm out with friends.

(94) "Why" - Sabrina Carpenter.

This appeared at the short end of my list last year, too.

I think this is a pretty good pop song ; very catchy.

I checked for "Lost in Japan" cause I heard the video was a tribute to Lost in Translation (aka. my favourite film) and I was pleased to also find such a catchy song!

 

"1999" was also a great song and I LOVED that video - so much fun and so nostalgia.

 

I guess after these videos, that's probably why I found "thank u, next" a little underwhelming.
