Blue Rose Posted December 11, 2018 Author Posted December 11, 2018 This is actually Side B of Guetta’s album. The side where he paired up with Showtek and dropped the trendy Pop and Urban features. The result is an album full of infectious House anthems and Gospel tinged bangers that will light up your night. “My definition of House music is what comes from the soul” Cece Rogers declares on “Freedom” and that sentiment is carried throughout the album. Remember when ATRL stanned these boys for few days because they blocked EIL. Fun times... Anyway, I didn’t expect them to deliver in term of quality. The title track is Pop Perfection. The album is also very strong. The boys really showed their skills off, some really amazing guitar riffs that made me turn my head and some wonderful songwriting. Keep That Same Energy was really great at showing all Teyana’s facets. She shapeshifts from vulnerable to fearless, from unapologetic, sex vixen and powerful to fun girl next door in less than 25 minutes. It’s a quickie but oh so satisfying.

Bubble Tea Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Was meaning to check out Rita's album but maybe won't rush given the sub-par review here haha. Still, a fun little bop is still a bop.

Tom Vercetti Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 MDC, Daytona, BTC and Dissolvi tbh out of the ye produced albums, teyana and nas albums didn’t leave much impact for me.

KasioKas Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Wow cool op animation! 14 hours ago, Superpower said: Some honorable mentions in no order. I liked these albums but for one reason or another they didn’t make my top50 (didn’t get enough plays, too long, have some songs that dragged it down) Every album in my top50, I loved! 1. Isolation by Kali Uchis 2. I’m All Ears by Lets Eat Grandma 3. Thank You For Today by Death Cab For Cutie 4. Lamp Lit Prose by Dirty Projectors 5. Scorpion by Drake 6. Invasion Of Privacy by Cardi B 7. Electric Light by James Bay 8. The Kids Are Alright by Chloe x Halle 9. Here Comes The Runts by Awolnation 10. Qualm by Helena Hauff WOW CxH didn't make it huh? I thought it was solid! Also I wanted to check out Rita but I've never checked out her music before and didn't want to rush it.
