High Horse is my favorite from this set. I listened to Rosebud because of all the Best Of acclaim and it sounded like a bop, I would still have to let it grow on me though. MGMT's album is also on my list to listen.

Yeah it's a grower, the album is a mix of super catchy but also a little chaotic.

OK I'll do it for the ART.  Their previous single this year was good, maybe I just heard a few of their minis in full and got turned off.

75.  Bbymutha - Heaven's Little Bastard

listen-to-bbymuthas-latest-single-heavens-little-bastard.jpg

I absolutely adore when music uses sacreligious elements and then combines it with sexuality.  I'm a Madonna stan, what can I say?  "I can go to church but only if I **** the pastor."  Come on bitch, yas!

74.  Julia Holter - I Shall Love 2

julia-holter-aviary-1536159605-640x640.jpg

The fact that this is described as the most accessible song on the album says a lot about the album.  It's a rewarding listen and there are many common musical elements that repeat and feel familiar by the end.

73.  Christine and the Queens - Goya! Soda!

220px-ChristineAndTheQueensChris.png

Her funkier direction gave us some BOPS.  This is a great synthpop song and has a killer bassline and I love the vocal layering in some parts of the song.  This is like the better version of Girlfriend and it also doesn't have a scandal attached!

72.  Meghan Trainor - Can't Dance

35659ce6758065b4d2fb75672dd41fc7.1000x1000x1.jpg

Meghan follows the frump-pop meets sexy style she started with No and we get some great rewards.  Part of the magic of these songs is that we all know Meghan is a tacky bitch who probably can't dance herself, but her insane amounts of self confidence carry the song.  Seriously, give us a FULL DISCO ALBUM!!  If Carly won't do it, only Meghan can save us.

71.  Kilo Kish - Like Honey

1536365644_8b64673d72f9e7ce2b4fbaad368cf178.jpg

The biggest complaint about Elegance was that it was all production, no songwriting.  This song is... yeah kinda more of the same, but I think that everything is better.  I looooove the instrumental and find it super infectious, and the way she gives us all the energy in the world in the verses only to present us with a moaning non-chorus.  YES!

70.  Kali Uchis - Dead To Me

KUisolation.jpg

I love it when songs are influenced from the sorta R&B/Freestyle era of the 80s as I feel like it's a great era that gets unfairly forgotten.  The message of this song is great as well, instead of bitter, she's trying to move on!  The lyrics could fit a romantic relationship or a more platonic friendship so everyone can relate.

69.  UNIIQU3 - Bubble Gum

artworks-000393678696-ye0joa-t500x500.jpg

This song is literal ear candy to me.  I NEED MORE.

68.  Aurora Shields - Only Love Can Make Me Blue

AURORA-SHIELDS.jpg?w=630&h=0&zc=1&s=0&a=t&q=89

It's a throwback to the days of Everything Is Embarrassing and Losing You.  She has a rich vocal that sounds very nice.  I have no idea who she is, I think this is her only song.  Give her some streams yall.

67.  Leikeli47 - Roll Call

1540413785_0a3d0a2e73625714b345be7c8beceef1.jpg

Love drumline type hip-hop R&B songs.  The theme of this song is also great.

66.  Dreamcatcher - You and I

d979239f8d833abba675535a66634f10.1000x1000x1.jpg

Something a little more subdued from Dreamcatcher this time.  I love that the chorus sort of just fades away into darkness.

65.  Troye Sivan - Bloom

220px-Troye_Sivan_Bloom.png

The most beautiful and touching song about losing your anal virginity.  It's the "Teenage Dream" for bottoms.  This will be the final Carly Rae Jepsen emotion era Clone Clown song I will praise though, as non-top 40 oriented pop should probably move on.

64.  Migos - Stir Fry

Migos-Stir-Fry-1513777576.jpg

We LOVE Pharrell and his productions! PERIOD!

63.  of Montreal - Paranoic Intervals / Body Dysmorphia

3b985fc2a605bd6473a0e03c6892b156.1000x1000x1.jpg

This song is sort of a two parter, even having separate titles for both.  I definitely prefer the first portion but the second portion is more or less a nice comedown from the mess of the first.  Kevin kind of sort of sounds like a scene girl on Paranoic Intervals and I LIVE FOR IT.  As usual, we get completely weird references and lyrics that are extremely pretentious.

62.  Free Love - Pushing Too Hard

a2027726781_10.jpg

This is a throwback to Italio Disco and Hi NRG from the 70s and 80s and it works efficiently.  The French helps give the song a Euro artsy edge I guess, too.  The chorus is the ultimate 80s melancholy feeling.

61.  Rico Nasty - Smack a Bitch

50bf663539e69bf13d8d4c5953fe52e1.1000x1000x1.jpg

Rico's aggressive angry rapping is HEAVEN TO ME.  d I think this song was released after she got in a fight with Asian Doll (I think she lost but well she won career-wise).  Her flow is on the nose and you can really channel the RAGE through it while listening and if you have pent up stress this is the perfect song to listen to.

Dead to me, stir fry, bubble gum, i shall love 2, bloom pushing too hard :clap3:

I'm not into of montreal anymore so anything they currently release just goes out the other ear.

I stanned them so hard in high school (like 2005-2009).  You have no idea how hard I stnaned them it was almost embarrassing.  So I'll always have a spot in my heart for them even if their albums are kinda spotty nowadays.  I'm kinda happy he's still trying though.

I love Leikeli!  She's been great since Boss.  YOu'd like Kilo based off of what you put on your YE list.  Her EP is short too so its not a huge time commitment.

Bloom is good but i got a little sick of it near the end of the year so it fell like 10-20 spaces.

She really has carved out her own unique sound, nobody does yelling rap like her, NOT EVEN TEKASHI.
