theblackestday Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 I never ended up listening to Ruins but I do love Fireworks, and it was played on the radio here a lot Love Florence but wasn't a big fan of High as Hope, Big God is actually its saving grace for me June though
Kevin2803 Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 I might check out The Aces. I think i've heard of them before, but never listened to a song.
TheWayWeWere Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 HAH was disappointing I hope she comebacks with better material next time
Remmy Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Finally you started a main list Haven't heard this first set though. Love the graphics!
potent Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 High as Hope is a great album, albeit not quite to my expectations, but it still has its standout tracks.
collin Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Like to see Camila and Robyn in the on deck! Haven't heard those three albums.

That was my initial reaction to the album, but surprisingly it grew on me. But still, I do agree that compared to the rest of her albums, this one is her weakest. Don't expect much tho, but I hope you'd listen to "Stuck", at least. On 12/28/2018 at 2:41 PM, collin said: Like to see Camila and Robyn in the on deck! -mUsIcLoVeR- Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 Thanks for being here! _____________________________ • • • • • FAVORITE TRACKS: Thick and Thin, Thru These Tears, Valentine's Day, Taking Me Back A great, sad album despite being a short one. Not much to say about this one, just one of those albums I'd love listening to in the night, when I'm sad, when I'm on the road, despite being single and unable to relate for ****. Valentine's Day is such a heartbreaker, too. • • • • • FAVORITE TRACKS: Take A Byte, Screwed, Pynk, Make Me Feel, I Got The Juice, So Afraid She pulled through with such diversity on this one. The album is very different from her previous ones, but that's what makes it great. Make Me Feel got me hooked instantly, serving Prince on such a track. I love that she did a collaboration with Grimes too. It was weird, but it worked so well. Also, the accompanying film made this album not just an album but a work of art. • • • • • FAVORITE TRACKS: The Lights Is Coming, R.E.M., God Is A Woman, Breathin', No Tears Left to Cry, Better Off, Goodnight N Go, Get Well Soon Ariana's latest effort is apparently her weakest yet, but no means a bad album. It's actually quite an enjoyable album to be fair. Here's the thing, if you remove a couple of tracks, it's probably on par with the rest of her discography. Try imagining this album without successful, sweetener, blazed, and borderline - it's relatively better, isn't it? But still, you have to give props to Ms. Grande for this one. It's her year and she deserves all the success she's having in her career. _____________________________
