Christina Aguilera – Liberation [R&B] I’ve always loved Christina, so I was looking forward to her return after a rather long hiatus. Lotus wasn’t really it but I still think Bionic is an incredible record. Liberation is Christina at perhaps her best. It showcases her vocals, but also sees Christina taking risks. The riskiest risk is Accelerate, the first taste we got of Liberation. Whilst many hated it, I thought it was amazing. Perhaps not what you would want after a long hiatus, but it’s a daring and unique record that feels modern but in no way ‘’trend-hoppy’’. Liberation is the album where Christina takes the best use of her vocals creating a strong album. She once again is ahead of the time.. legend ugh the flavour i this reiew>>>>
Staryu Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Liberation was alright, a tad bit disappointing for such a long wait between albums, there's a few good moments though. Cardi's album is full of bops, something Nicki should work on if she ever manages to **** out another album again, who knows at the rate she is going. Also yas @ Jorja, she does have a lovely voice, Blue Lights is my fave ❤️ And mess @ you not liking Hair Body Face I love it, it has personality and sounds so pure pop, it's a better version of The Cure.
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 17, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 17, 2018 Glad to see Liberation high!
Bxtch Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Rae Morris – Someone Out There I discovered her thanks to this album and was pleasantly surprised tbh
Remmy Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Albums: I'm one of the few #TeamSheezus members. That album is incredibly solid, especially the standard edition. For SOPHIE, I like ha sound but I listened to snippets and I wasn't motivated to hear it all in full. I do enjoy Ponyboy. Liberation is nice, especially the middle (from Fall In Line to Twice) where the best tracks are.
ATRL Moderator kelly-clarkson Posted December 18, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 18, 2018 Liberation is amazing But I don't like Accelerate. she should have picked another song like Pipe or Twice to made her comeback (or release Fall In Line first).
ColdKeane Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 No Shame is a redemption, what a surprise Pusha T + Jorja Smith
Cloröx Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 No Shame It's a huge step up from Sheezus. She really did that
Jet Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Liberation is kinda hit or miss but it definitely has some great highlights
Pink Matter Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Another solid set! IoP, No Shame, Oil, L&F, Daytona, and Someone Out There are great picks! Sophie deserved more though
potent Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Liberation has plenty of great songs, I was pleasantly surprised! Lashings because Cardi's too low or because she's in the list at all?
thecptz Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 is ryan beatty good? i'm so tempted to listen to ha but never get a chance yet no shame and liberation will check out vanjess and hollie cook ❤️ thanks
Wicked Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 SOPHIE and some songs off Daytona > Mess @ Jorja Smith aka Ella Mai aka any other British R&B chick being above Oil tho... a choice was made. Kamasi is cool but I prefer his first album.
Maddox Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Vessel Of Love was very good Didn't expect to be this interested in Xtina's new record but her singles run was very impressive and the album turned out to be enjoyable!
Eeveelution Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 No Shame and Lost and Found are both v. underrated imo. I apprecate Someone Out There for delivering the bops in January.
Mark Rih Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Black Panther Marvel aka talent won SSSS was just ok imo, same for IOP, but I like them overall. Jorja a great debut but she can do even better
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 18, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 18, 2018 lol, the "cardi b's album is overrated" train LOST. It's a solid album. VERY solid album! EXCUSE YOU DO NOT SAY THAT RAE MORRIS IS BETTER THAN CARLY
prézli Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Seeing Cardi B and Lily Allen... I didn't want to scroll down. 21 hours ago, Navyofbadgals said: She once again is ahead of the time.. legend Really? Fall in Line is very dated. But cute girl.
Uncatena Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 No Shame was definitely a step up and it felt really genuine, but it also had a LOT of filler imo Oil deserved to be higher x Rae's was a cute gworl, we stan fresh pop musica Wye Oak's album has been in my to listen list since it came out and i havent touched it yet lmao
TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 No Shame is AMAZING she should've win Mercury for it Liberation Rae that high I'm so glad I found her this year
