Tom Vercetti Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 hmm, my favorite here is Slide. I gave Shopping Body half a listen during the January Drought and left it there. Wasn't that impressed with the Tropical Storm album but there's a song I like by them that's not in your highlights nor bottom.
Ewan Chaos Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 George Clanton's album is good!! Glad you got to check it out before the year ended. I quite liked the Metric record too, but I'm still kinda getting into it tbh.
Pink Matter Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Slide is my fave from this set And glad you were able to make space for it on such short notice. I hate when I listen to something good but I don't have the opportunity to sit with it as much as I'd like cuz I'm short on time
Eeveelution Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Cuation is cute. Idk.her gif for the others!
Mark Rih Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Caution Mariah won, her peers could never I'm glad Jorja made it to the top 50 too
mokitsu Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Caution i think i listened to Slide and didn't like it
World Eater Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 The way we switched from making fun of Mariah to stanning Caution Me when I recommended Slide to everyone
Glassmouth Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 didn't know about George or TFS but with those description I, for sure, will give them a listen as well I'm living for how much stans Mariah is getting back after Caution, even tho I'm not a stan myself, I can recognize talent when I hear it
TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Caution is too low one of my favorite Mariah albums in YEARS
Uncatena Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Slide making it to the list :deserves: The Official Body is on my list.... we'll see :fan Caution SLAPS, whew I got into that Tropical **** Storm album because of you and it would have made my list but I only listened once so far, lemme just say you're right and it leaves me in awe too. it's insane.
Dom Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 MARIAH MAKING IT, YASS MAMA. I DON'T SEE GTFO IN BEST TRACKS, BUT IT'S MY BOP AND WAS A CUTE MEME.
Vilppu Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 as a former stan and now casual listener of moo i'm glad to see her receive a lot of acclaim this year ^-^ listened to the slide album and bitch this so good !! the title track is a serve serve SERVE but as a whole i love it

Nice to see Mimi here, but GTFO needs to be included in that bottom.... Both are a must listen! Nnn I actually agree, it's my least favorite alongside With You but I know it's a fan favorite and I'm kinda sick of being the contrarian so I avoided of putting it there ✨ 22 hours ago, Sbbmsve said: Slide bitch SLIDE, I can’t get that puta out of my head. Make It Forever is an instant synthpunk classic Mariah made many points with Caution. It is like her most low-key album, GTFO is a jam. theblackestday Posted December 18, 2018 Author Posted December 18, 2018 40. Lykke Li - so sad so sexy Alternative R&B, Art Pop Quote Tops: jaguars in the air, better alone, hard rain, deep end, last piece Bottoms: so sad so sexy, bad woman, utopia 39. Birds in Row - We Already Lost the World Post-Hardcore, Hardcore Punk Quote Tops: We vs. Us, Remember Us Better Than We Are, I Don't Dance, Fossils Bottoms: Triste Sire 38. Thom Yorke - Suspiria Film Score, Ambient Quote I'll just go ahead and say it, Suspiria is Thom's best solo project to date. I haven't watched the Suspiria film but I imagine this soundtrack accompanies it perfectly. A beautifully haunting and atmospheric listening experience. Tops: Suspirium, Has Ended, Open Again, Unmade, Volk, Suspirium Finale Bottoms: An Audition 37. Kamasi Washington - Heaven and Earth Spiritual Jazz Quote even though I loved last year's Harmony of Difference, I avoided this album for a few good months because I wasn't here for a near-three hours long jazz album. and whew, am I happy that I gave in. This album is an experience™... a taxing one, but most importantly a rewarding one. Some tracks may not be as engaging as others, but overall it is a thoroughly epic and adventurous jazz record which reminds us why Kamasi is a brilliantly talented and ambitious musician. Tops: Street Fighter Mas, The Space Travelers Lullaby, Vi Lua Vi Sol... etc. Bottoms: where where are they 36. MGMT - Little Dark Age Synthpop, Psychedelic Pop Quote this album reminds me of my walks to [redacted]. loved this a lot at the time of its release although I always felt there's some obvious highlights and some weaker moments. It didn't serve much longevity for me, but I did in fact start returning to it recently and I still enjoy it, especially love the highs a lot. Contains some perfect, fun and catchy synthpop tracks with a psychedelic aesthetic, and even though the lows drag it down for me, it remains a cohesive body of work. Tops: Days That Got Away, When You Die, Little Dark Age, When You're Small, Hand It Over Bottoms: Me and Michael, One Thing Left to Try, James

Dom Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Lykke Yass, Hard Rain , that’s a classic, That’s a classic. and Suspiria soundtrack whew, wig in Pakistan.
Uncatena Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Suspiria is the only thing i like/know from this and it should be higher so hi i guess
fossora Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 - the amount of taste in HMS only - Slide, Caution - SSSS, Suspiria
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 18, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 18, 2018 so sad so sexy great record only listened once to heaven and earth but I really enjoyed it ff
SLIME Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Lykke's album sucked IMO. MGMT was dope though. Suspiria and Kamasi I will get around when I have more time
Tom Vercetti Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 MGMT being the highest this batch is accurate. some of your mgmt tops and bottoms should switch imo
