I was disappointed in Artic Monkey's latest album after loving AM. 5 year wait and we got this underwhelming mess :rip: Four our of Five is the only song for me that still has replay value.

Ikr, but still TBHC is that bish :gaycat3:

#19 Maribou State, Kingdoms In Colour

The combination of dreamy samples and shuffling beats truly resulted a magnificent art of music. I impressed by the fact that they know how to hit the exact points and drive me into their world. Never tired of listening the album since its release. Electropop at its finest tho.

Highlight tracks : Part Time Glory, Beginner's Luck, Slow Heat

#18 The Love-Birds, In the Lover's Corner

Another new artist made it into my list with their incredible debut album. I love the simplicity of each track, the way the way they put it short but effectively delivered the message. The music arrangements and melodies suit the theme of the album, enhancing the enjoyment. There's a lot of rooms for improvement but surely this is a promising start for them.

Highlight tracks : Weak Riff, Angela, Tommy's Theme

#17 MØ, Forever Neverland

Thank you Taylor for introducing this lovely act. Since that, I've been digging to her music and Forever Neverland is one my top anticipated albums of 2018. And it's not a disappoinment honestly. The album compressed with everything I need, in fact, it blow my expectations. Having it in my playlist is a must.

Highlight tracks : If It's Over, Sun In Our Eyes

#16 The Orielles, Silver Dollar Moment

The album is stunning at every single way. It manages to deliver its purpose, serving the pure indie pop experience. I accidentally found this album on Spotify, and I admit that I'm not regret at all giving them a chance.

Highlight tracks : Borrachero Tree, Mango

#15 Lotic, Power

It is safe to say that Power is one of the most important electronic albums released in 2018. Lotic having no fear in embracing his own concept, acting like there's no boundaries with his music. There's no need for vocal to tell the story, just let all the melodies doing their job.

Highlight tracks : Resilience, Distribution of Care

#14 Gabe Gurnsey, Physical

It's wild, outrageous, havoc but full of confidence. The record itself sounds so messy to the point it gets me intoxicated but after all that's the point.

Highlight tracks : Night Track, Harder Rhythm, You Can

#13 Pinkshinyultrablast, Miserable Miracles

A big applause for the band to create such a fascinating pop record in its their own unique way. I've been following them since 2015, and each of their release never failed to amaze me. Miserable Miracles is refreshing my music taste in a year full disappoinment, fully concentrated with mediocre hip-hop and RnB mess.

Highlight tracks : Find Your Saint, Taleidoscope

#12 Let's Eat Grandma, I'm All Ears

The album full of tracks that worth of remembrance. It is creative and infectious records, and they are sparkling off the chart. After repeat listens, I'm still never getting tired of it especially that two long ass tracks. It's magical and breathtaking experience.

Highlight tracks : Donnie Darko, Missed Call (1), Cool &Collected

#11 Amen Dunes,  Freedom

The music arrangements, lyrics, vocal, everything solidified the album as pop rock masterpiece. This is rebellion anthem, so inspiring, so energetic. Somehow it reminds me of my teenagehood, bringing all the nostalgic memories, when I was yound and dumb.

Highlight tracks : Skipping School, Miki Dora, Freedom

#10 Mac Miller, Swimming

In the year where hip-hop and rap are dominating the music industry, Mac Miller has appeared as the most standout artist of his kind. Swimming is not just a regular, it is a perfect manifestation of Mac and also his last statement to us. Beautifully crafted, packed with emotion, it drives me into sadness knowing that we've lost one of the most shinning star.

Highlight tracks : Hurt Feeling, Jet Fuel

The last 3 albums :jonny5:

Except I don’t agree with your highlights, I have others. A testament of the quality of these albums :clap3:

And yes, Mac Miller was the best rap album. Well at least, he is my highest charting rap album (oops spoiler)
