Someone says this is including sales and streaming

Oh i see, still. I think charts in general need to have a separate thread for both streaming and sales and one that combines both figures.

Oh that album at #2 is what kept Ed off #1 in France.

Rag n Bone man #4 with 551k after just 4 weeks. Gonna be a big album this year.

I wish they did just sales numbers. The Weeknd is flattered hugely by streams. Even though Ed has overtook his total sales in one week!

Gaga sold 0.92 million outside USA, which is a bigger country for a homeland. For born this way. And those were actual sales.

Ed's doing it in 2017, though. I'm not sure if anyone else can accomplish this feat any time soon.

If we go by this logic, Britney sold 1.1 million out of US with Oops... But as @St. Charles said, what he did is hella impressive, he did it in 2017.

You asked when will our faves, so I replied that she did it too.

What are Starboy's totals WW? (Including streaming from November + December, which was massive). Did it pass 2M?

BIB: According to this week's Mediatraffic chart (link in OP), 'Starboy' has sold 1.735m equivalent sales as of this week, but seeing as Mediatraffic only started including streaming in January, if streaming in November/December was massive, then it probably has, or is very close to passing 2m.

MusiCharts has Abel nearing 2.5M in equivalents, so take it or leave it :michael:

In fairness, he came pretty damn close to Taylor's numbers. According to Mediatraffic's front page, 1.467m of Ed's total was in pure sales, only 200k behind Taylor.

Your post made me want to check out Viva La Vida opening week.

Weird it debuted at 359K but week 2 was over 1500K. It was probably released few days early in some markets.

The 2 "weeks" haul is 1944K. Kinda amazing.

edit: just checked for X&Y but Mediatraffic doesn't have numbers for 2005 :(
