GypsyLAMB Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Gwen has one of the best selling albums of the year. Talent.
FanOfPop Posted March 8, 2017 Author Posted March 8, 2017 Updated sales. A lot of movement finally. Also, there are some pretty solid gaps between some albums that will probably from now on just rise. We'll see. There are still 4 soundtracks in top 10 (with "Fifty Shades Darker" probably being out next week). "25" finally surpassed "Lemonade" (I think for the first time this year).

FanOfPop Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 Week 10 updated. Sorry for the late .. rough week. Anyway, "Divide" easily became the best selling album so far although I doubt he will be #1 at the end of the year. My guess would be Bruno or anyone who hasn't released yet. First six albums have built solid lead and they will change the positions between themselves in the following weeks imo. "Joanne" will be out of Top 10 next update and "Hardwired ... To Self-Destruct" should be #2. Interesting.

GypsyLAMB Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Queen Gwen's album still in the top 5, while younger pop girls can't achieve longevity
FanOfPop Posted March 24, 2017 Author Posted March 24, 2017 Updated OP. A lot of Metallica's albums experienced surge cause of the recent ticker bundle event. I think due to that "Hardwired ... To Self-Destruct" will be one of the few albums this year that will reach 500k sales. Besides "Divide" I can see it also for "24K Magic" and maybe "More Life" for now. The rest of top 20 is pretty stable. Next week Top 3 will be the same with Drake debuting possibly at #4.

FanOfPop Posted March 31, 2017 Author Posted March 31, 2017 OP updated. "More Life" debuted at #7, "Beauty And The Beast" reached top 20 with very nice second week (honestly even better than the opening one). It's amazing how Bruno and The Weeknd released basically at the same time but "24K Magic" is so far ahead of "Starboy" in terms of pure sales. So far: - albums with 1 000 000 sales: 0 - albums with 500 000 sales: 0 - albums with 250 000 sales: 3 - albums with 100 000 sales: 21 Next week: - "Divide" should surpass half million mark and became first album to do this in 2017 - "Moana" will cross 250 000 mark - "Grammy Nominees" and "Sing" (hopefully) will be the other two albums with 100 000 sales
