Duca Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 Trolls tops 500k in sales this week. 514k sales. 786k SPS (1.119m in total.)

St. Charles Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 I don't understand. How is Metallica selling so much after 6 or so months of release? EDIT: Nevermind. Ticket bundle.
thedastardly Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Drake about to have about 4 albums in the Top 100 by next week.

Letters From Adi Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Drake will dethrone him easily next week.

I'm not trying to start trouble, but saying an album is a hit with virtually zero sales, and can only sustain chart position through streaming, is hardly a "hit." Views and Lemonade, both Urban and Hip-hop by formats are smashes, with both having significant sales and the former with a ton of streaming (Lemonade is admittedly low on streaming due to reliance only on Tidal). People still have the ability (albeit on somewhat fewer/limited platforms) to buy TLOP if they really like the album, but very, very few people have chosen to do so.
NumbSoul Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Yeah, Ed is pulling good numbers, but I was expecting much more from him tbh... Drake will destroy next week!
Tremor Christ Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 (edited) 77k second week is pretty bad for Ed. This definitively won't sell like it should. Don't be surprised if the hype dies down soon. Metallica passing 100k sales even if it's thanks to ticket bundle is amazing. Remind you this is their second week with the boost, so at least 150k-200k used the bundle. It might also pass 1,000,000 sales Only 11 albums passing 10k sales Edited March 18, 2017 by Tremor Christ
Rentboy Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Always the same on ATRL the doommongers swoop to try attack their faves big rivals. Eds US numbers are just fine. He's not hot out the gates like urban artists like Drake are. Come back at the end of the year and talk when he has the worlds biggest selling album. And more hits from Divide that will have boosted his album sales to well over a million in the US. Marathon vs Sprint.
