The figures in () means with SPS including US streams and the ones in [ ] the sales WW with SPS but without US streams?

So basically () + [ ] = total sales with SPS worldwide?

may I ask, when were these receipts updated? there's no way she could be at only 39M records sold.

Global icon. :heart2:

Hopefully she does a long Asia leg for DWT. Her fans throughout Asia always go so hard for her yet she's not even visited some of their countries.

No sis!

Pure sales (sales plus streamings) [without us streamings sales]

Total is "[]"

[ ] = Pure sales of us + streamings sales of others countries!

i'm so confused, last time i checked ariana's total records sold were at 45M. What happened?

were there streaming figures involved in that total? I've included everything purely.

Btw, her label confirmed she was at 36M+ back in September (right before STS started to take off)

It's been 7 months and she has pushed 3.5M records.

Some people are using this new formula "without US streams", but that doesn't make sense. Some countries do not count streams on their certifications, If a country work only with pure sales, it's not necessary to use streams on it.

This formula is like the old way from ATRL/ClassicATRL to add up the Worldwide Sales:

Blue = Countries that reveal pure sales or work only with pure sales.

Red = Countries that work with SPS and don't reveal pure sales.

PS: Some SPS of that post "without US streams" are extremely inflated. I did it on Selena's OP too because these are the only ones with this formula "without US streams".

"Without us streams" is not a formula, it's just the sum of the us pure sales with sales with streamings from countries. Countries do not certify just by streaming. I understood what you did, and I agree with that. Countries that have their pure sales released must be added in this way, they are using streaming sales from countries to inflate the pure sales of countries that have already seen pure sales. I had no idea they would. I just did as I was asked.

My impression was "without US streams" became a thing because other fanbases mistakenly add the US pure sales to other countries' SPS (thinking they are pure sales) to get WW pure sales. Guus still calculated the actual WW pure sales and actual WW SPS.

Yes, I always separate "pure sales", "sales with streamings" and "pure sales from us with sales with streamings from the rest of the world". I started doing this because they asked me on the topic of Selena. I did not think I'd turn this mess around.

"Without us streams" is not a formula, it's just the sum of the us pure sales with sales with streamings from countries. Countries do not certify just by streaming.

It seems like a formula. Countries like United States, South Korea, Spain, Denmark, Mexico, Belgium, Japan, Finland (and some others) reveal/work only pure sales and don't need to add streams for their sales/certificates. Some of SPS from "Without US Streams" are huge from the real SPS.

There's no way to know the pure from countries that work with SPS sales, only an incorrect estimate.

Only Japan, Us, Sk and Mexico still work with pure sales. Other countries certify by streaming.

Well that's why it's called an estimate. Like any other fanbase, that's all we can do. I really don't understand what you're saying. You have a problem with the pure sales estimates but also with the US pure sales plus non-US SPS? Like what do you expect us to do? Other bases calculate WW sales too, but as you said you only directed this toward our base and the Selena base.
