Jonathan Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Her being already over 100m equivalents with only 3 albums
grandewhispers Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 I'm currently reading ChartMaster's analysis and I'm loving it
grandewhispers Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 The commercial reception of Dangerous Woman was often considered cold. Its 4,6 million equivalent album sales to date surely prove otherwise. Sure, it is lower than My Everything, but it was easily strong enough to grant a heavy anticipation for her upcoming era which keeps her hey-days well alive.
grandewhispers Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 With the solid contribution of her orphan songs too, Grande has now amassed 18,36 million equivalent album sales. It’s a wonderful total for a singer who has only been around since 2013. It must be noted that 41% of her sales come via streaming, the highest share of this format among all artists studied so far. It is far from being a negative indicator. Streaming figures are the most representative of what’s truly hot at the moment, which is highly promising for her future. Spill that tea
grandewhispers Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Spoiler As previously stated she needs to achieve big hits on her own to finally be regarded as a safe bet of the music industry. With 17,1 million equivalent album sales so far she has yet to project her immense following into her record sales. Them talking about S*****
grandewhispers Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 According to them, Ariana's biggest songs are: 1 2014 – Problem [My Everything] – 2,230,0001 2014 – Bang Bang [My Everything] – 2,230,0003 2014 – Break Free [My Everything] – 1,400,0004 2016 – Side To Side [Dangerous Woman] – 1,390,0005 2014 – One Last Time [My Everything] – 1,110,0006 2016 – Into You [Dangerous Woman] – 1,040,000 Spoiler The list of most successful songs is compiled in album equivalent sales generated by each of them. It includes the song’s own physical singles sales with a 0,3 weighting, its download and streaming sales, and with appropriate weighting too, plus its share among sales of all albums on which it is featured.
grandewhispers Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 According to them, ME sold 1.9M WW, Yours Truly 1.0M and Dangerous Woman 0.96M What's the tea? @GuusLima
KKCuteCat Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 I'm not trying to discredit her coz u know i love her to but her stats went from 35-40 million records to 49M records in few months with this sales climax? I really doubt that. One of the sources must be failed. Either this or the previous ones

Then, those units refer to shipments. A good chunk of 2017 sales were shipped during 2016's Xmas season. In the US, it shipped over 360,000 last year (retail sales at 322,000) and under 40,000 units this year (retail sales 68,000 units), thus adding roughly 10% new shipments on top of its previous total of about 875,000 units” then I brought up Mediatraffic and how I always thought it was at least at 1M pure he said that he inflates sales for clicks and then said “If it is only consolation, the same is true for all artists. Rihanna's ANTI was on 1.459.000 @mediatraffic, but it shipped 1,1m. Sia was shown with 1.337.000 sold while she shipped 1,2m, Red Hot Chili Peppers on 1.256.000 with 1m shipped, etc. Nowadays pure sales of 960,000 units for an artist who's target audience relies mostly on streaming is very solid!” Edited November 30, 2017 by mareeyan

That first paragraph is kinda complicated to read tho. In brief, 0.9 million was shipment, not actual sales?

Thank you for asking him Ugh I knew Mediatraffic wasn't really reliable. Some of their sales look way too inflated
