Those stats include the User Generated Streams I think and they dont count for RIAA iirc.

 

With UGC BB, 7R and TUN are easily beyond the 10M mark now

i guess the previous estimated number included the UGC streams that RIAA doesnt count, 7 rings and tun respectively got 1.58B and 1.51B on-demand streams (include UGC) in the US, which means 7 rings has sold over 11m units in the US plus tun sold over 10.5m units, but unfortunately none of these UGC streams will be counted by RIAA

but idk whether RIAA will count Bang Bang into My Everything(A) or not since bang bang is a plus song for deluxe version and is also included in jessie j album, so if riaa wont count then the total US units of my everything is abt 4.2m-4.3m units i guess

Don’t they allocate the units to the better performing album? That’s what happened with Prisoner when Dua put it on her own album. Blinding Lights being added to The Highlights album by The Weeknd is another example.

We need YT to go double Platinum as well, so all 6 of her albums can be multi platinum. It's only 0.3m away, so it's doable by next year hopefully.

im afraid it takes yrs for YT to go 2P cause YT only gain around 60K units per yr in the US,  and as for TUN, it gains 300K per yr, ME 200K, DW 200K, Swt 160K, so the long-term performance of these albums may not be as good as u expect

I mean, I would be fine with her team just updating the certifcations and have TU,N and ME at 4x Platinum (and ME maybe 5x) already, that's a great achievement itself. I don't know what's taking them so long. She's on a break so it's a good time to update everything and have her stats be the most accurate.
