Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s On the Run II Tour tops the Hot Tours list dated Aug. 25 (see below), thanks to the latest batch of earnings reported to Billboard Boxscore for the couple's successful trek. Their placement is fueled by recent engagements in Minneapolis, Detroit, and two sold-out shows for 86,000 fans at Chicago’s Soldier Field, which totaled $21.2 million in grosses.

With the addition of these four dates, Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s co-headline trek exceeds $150 million grossed, rising to a total of $150.7 million. Across 29 shows in Europe and the U.S., total attendance has reached 1.4 million. There are 19 dates left to report to Boxscore before the tour closes on Oct. 4 at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field.

With another month and a half of dates still ahead for Beyoncé and JAY-Z, their tour is trending toward the $250 million mark. As implied by the tour’s name, it is the sequel to their original 2014 On the Run stint. The 2018 installment has already blown past its predecessor, which brought in $109.6 million.

ATRL told me it’s a “flop” tour!

But whew! A $250M tour which was promoted off of just 3 Instagram posts :jonny5:

The demand for Bey is real. A $250 million gross with no promo or music to promote leading in.

Lol they really take us for idiots. How come they “sold out” with only 86K tickets when Taylor sold over 105K tickets in the exact same stadium? Nonetheless, congrats to them!

Sold out doesn't mean selling out the venue. They sold out the amount of tickets they put for sale.

And how come Taylor is also listed as "sold out" when Rolling Stones sold over 107K tickets in the same exact stadium?

How come Taylor is "sold out" when Dave Matthews did over 115K in the same exact venue?

How Come Taylor is "sold out" when Grateful Dead did 70K per night for 3 nights in the same exact venue?

Nonetheless congrats to her!

Simple:

Rolling Stones had more people on the floor.

Dave Matthews had more sections for sale.

Grateful dead did a 360 concert.

All of the sections Taylor had on sale ended up selling out. The thing is Beyoncé had sections with dozens upon dozens of empty seats and yet it still “sold out”. You want to sit there and tell me every ticket Beyoncé originally had on sale ended up being bought by fans? Are you that far up her ass?

Taylor had more people on the floor than Bey.

instead of being a vulgar hater, why don't you apply the same logic to excuse Taylor's "sold out" to Bey? Or are you just so sad and hateful that your brain doesn't work when it comes to Beyoncé?
