Would physicals have made up the 20k for Nicki?

Her digital album did not sell. Her tour did not sell. Her tour bundle did not sell. Her merch bundle did not sell. The physical wasn't going to sell either.

for stans.

for the GP they will go to itunes or streaming.

This is why since July most of the music stores have closed or removed physical cd and dvds from their stores.

You'll have to order them online exclusively possibly by 2020.

This is not a matter of opinion. Most pure sales come from cd's/vinyl sales. Itunes is dead. Many artists get a Top 20 on itunes and then sell 20k pure.

Record stores are not relevant anymore, but people still buy millions cd's/vinyls/dvds on amazon, target, best buy, wallmart, etc.

Just because sales went from 200 million to 20million doesn't mean people isn't buying.

Ofcourse it would push :rip:

she has a fanbase who BOUGHT her album. Pretty sure she could have sell a lot of copies and go #1 imo. Gaga fans, demi fans, taylor fans all buy multiple copies the first week and i would expect the barbz to do it too.

No. Plenty of people already bought the physical CDs, which means it was available for sale.

Physicals weren’t added because they weren’t released, yet.

Yes it would have. Nicki is known to have ridiculous amounts of bonus songs so I’m sure the majority bought the target edition.

Probably. It's another platform even if it is a small one.

Possibly, but it's Nicki's fault. She had FOUR years and she messed things up.

I doubt it but even so, Nicki had time to plan a proper release - she got #2 and she might be mad but she needs to stop blaming everyone else for something she did to herself

Pretty surely since stans usually wait for physical albums. Never in my life have i ever bought a digital album and it's never gonna happen...

And some hardcore stans buy multiple copies as well.

If a $5 bundle including the album wasn’t purchased enough to make up that difference then I highly doubt a physical copy would’ve changed anything.

Came here to say it. Time the truth ultimate teller.

It seems it’s undershipped physically.
