I believe beyonce still has the record for most weeks at #1 for a female a debut album, 17 weeks #1 and from only 2 singles.

This really shouldn't count at all...they just changed their name and switched some ppl, but it was the same band at its core

 

Jefferson Airplane ---> Jefferson Starship ----> Starship

 

Imagine Destiny's Child changing their name after adding Michelle...that's basically the same thing :skull:

Why not? They were a seperate band. Just like how the Eurithmics are seperate to the tourists depside anni Lennox being lead singer of both

Mariah is unique in that it was 4 consecutive #1s. No other artist in history has done that!
