Another 800,000 for Beyoncé. Putting her over 25 million certified units. :clap3:

Beyoncé’s total UK certs without any collaborations: 17,920,000

Lady Gaga’s total UK certs without any collaborations: 16,760,000

Looks like the loser loses again. :ahh:

The difference is Beyoncé can still scan certifications across the board with or without a feature whilst it looks like Gaga falls behind in that department as noted by ROM having more certified units than Chromatica and all of it’s other tracks combined.

Because it is an Ariana-assisted collab.

Chromatica without ROM:

Chromatica: Gold (100k)

Stupid Love: Gold (400k)

Total: 500k

Positions:

Positions (song): Platinum (600k)

Positions (album): Gold (100k)
34+35: Platinum (600k)

POV: Silver (200k)

Motive: Silver (200k)

Total: 1.7M

We can clearly see who needed it more. :ahh:

What? The Fame (Gaga's first album) came out less than 2 years after B'Day (Beyoncé's second).

And as mentioned, Beyoncé has far more singles that are collaborations than Gaga's so this 30 vs. 50 thing evens out a bit more in the stats that was being compared specifically.

Of course albums can gain sales over time, but I mean after 15+ years are they gaining THAT much? It's small additions that add up, okay, but I don't think a five year difference is such a huge advantage.

If we want to talk about advantages, let's also mention how Lemonade was off streaming for 3 years, in which time I doubt people were buying up the singles as much as they would have been streaming them, contributing to their certifications.

The Fame wasn’t released in the U.K. until April 2009.

This topic is really ultimately very pointless, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga are two of the most famous women in the U.K., who wins in units divided by time or whatever is splitting hairs.

All y’all are doing is comparing every era to Chromatica without ROM. Same thing y’all did with ASIB without Shallow bc Bradley somehow assisted in selling the music.

Gaga is always judged by made up standards but I guess that’s what you get when you’re making hits like Shallow and ROM 10+ years into your career. Others can’t relate without a remix.

Well still that's not a five year difference, and I'm sure the singles were out in the UK prior to 2009, right?

Anyway I agree this back-and-forth is weird. I originally even deleted my original comment here but since it was quoted I replied...maybe I shouldn't have.

If Gaga managed to pull 500k for Stupid Love, a solo single, in the UK, what makes you think had ROM been solo she would'be been able to pull similiar figures at least? Like, ok, Ariana helped the song being a hit, but you cannot completely erase the song's units :skull: Such a dumb logic.

Born This Way is weeks from hitting 2x Platinum (+600k), followed by ARUTW also 2x (+600k) and Bad Romance hitting 3x (+600k).

That's an extra +1.8m to add to Gaga's total, and all with solo songs, so Gaga's will surpass Beyonce's solo units in a matter of months :dies:

Using your logic, 911, Sour Candy, or any other Chromatica track should have been able to accumulate a certification and have failed to do so at this point.

Also, do you happen to have a live unit tracker for Born This Way, Always Remember Us This Way, and Bad Romance's UK units to back up those claims? Because otherwise you're making the assumption that Beyoncé will have no new UK certifications within the same time period when she just added two yesterday. :dies: Gaga will never surpass Beyoncé's certified UK units and that is okay. Argue with someone outside of the top ten, where Gaga remains.

911 and Sour Candy werent official singles, but you already knew that :doc:

BTW's latest official figure was 1,080,000 back in June 21' when it got a big boost thanks to the Pride month, so its for sure going 2x Platinum soon. The others are estimates since we dont have official numbers but considering BR and ARUTW are both doing great on streaming on a daily basis, its bound to happen.

Not you pulling out the solo units just to go back to overall units now when I told you gaga will get massive certifications soon :ahh:

And Gaga IS in the top 10 with the latest PF certification, the OP hasnt been updated yet. The way all of your claims lost credibility :dies:
