I never thought she was a singles' artists per se but her singles are so popular that I assumed she was closer to a singles' artist than a albums' artist. An albums' artist with impressive singles' stats, an impressive career. I find hers and P!nk's albums to singles ratios very impressive. Ofc Adele too.

How can you explain albums certified Platinum but that sold almost 1 million? She has a lot of outdated certifications from the 80's and 90's.

Single sales back in the physical era were not nearly as huge. She has top 10 hits that didn't sell 100k there. It wasn't uncommon.

No I probably just had not counted her numbers well before because I recounted the units of a lot of artists the other day including her (and I did add 200K for the PI cert today) and the total you see in the OP is the one I got. But lemme recount her total again

On the floor is 15,000 away from X2 platinum (1.2 million) I'm real remix (379,000) Jenny from the block (385,000) Are both close to Gold (400,000). Love don't cost a thing Waiting for tonight Have also crossed the 320,000 mark Ain't your mama is also close to silver (189,000) So Jennifer is close to adding another 1.2 million Certified sales which could easy happen in 2020 bumping her upto 7 million Certified unites.
