I’d seen you posting as always in Gaga threads so wondered why you failed to update this one when Monsters commented JD had popped over the 2 x plat mark... at least you’re aware now :alexz3:

Yes, with this avi sis.

Boohoo the OP has a life and can’t update so regularly. Not everyone spends all day on ATRL.

Posting a few comments in threads and updating a whole table of 50 female artists' certifications doesn't exactly take the same amount of time babes. I'm sure you can understand.

On that note, OP updated! :heart2:

Gaga has a few songs close to 400K, but after that we’ll just have to see how the next era pans out :eatpopcorn:

Hoping Dua can get a nice boost from DL2

The OP and their near 20K post count can certainly spare the time... and has! A failed attempt by stans of the retired.

I’ve noticed that in every “top” list, Katy’s album sales are always so horrible compared to the others on the list. :rip: she’s such a singles artist.

:rip: the drag. You have a point, sis. Nobody with 20k posts on a forum has a life soooo busy that it keeps them from being honest. Don’t make a thread like this unless you have the time to do research.

I don’t think so. It’s just that she has less albums than others

She has 5. Beyoncé, Gaga, and Pink would all still be above her if you exclude all but 5 of their albums.

Crazy that Kylie has over 4million out of date certs or uncertified material, would place her in the top 4. Hopefully her label sorts it out.

How is that possible with the UK having automatic certs? Or is it in terms of her old music that sold a tonne before the new certs were brought in not being recertified? The fact she has that many missing from her numbers, legend

For her older music, automatic certifications only started in 2013, and while they backdate, in the 80s/90s they certified music based on shipments rather than sales and that information was only provided by labels.

Wow, she should get onto that, 20M records in the UK is pretty amazing, mostly pure sales too

I don't even think Katy Hudson was released in the UK

You don’t get to exclude albums just because they underperformed :rip: she has recorded and released 5 studio albums.

Katy Perry has released 4 studio albums

Katy Hudson only 1

It's not even about underperformance, it's a technical thing :rip:

Madonna is so under certified :ace:

Her first album is Platinum and should be 2 or 3 x Platinum (it's around 900k sold)

Like a Virgin is certified 3 x Platinum (900k) and sold 1.9M...so it has 3 Platinum certifications missing :rip:

TIC is missing 2 Platinum certifications

Bedtime Stories is missing 1 Platinum certification

Something to Remember is missing one Platinum certification as well.

Singles:

Holiday: Should be Platinum. Is Gold only.

Like a Virgin: Is Gold. Should be Platinum.

Crazy For You: Is Gold. Should be Platinum

Into The Groove: Is Gold. Should be Platinum

Papa Don't Preach: Is Gold. Should be Platinum.

Causing a Commotion. Not certified. Should be Silver.

Like a Prayer: Should be Platinum. Is still Gold.

Cherish: Uncertfified. Should be Silver.

Erotica: Uncertified. Should be Silver.

She's missing at least 2.7M in album certifications alone and 1.8M in singles certifications, which would be enough to make her reach almost 32M  certifications there. The way they totally left her older career to rot :ace:
