Tom Vercetti Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 no1 wants Neko. She'll be dragged. Use Settle or Reflektor instead.
smholiv Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 I kind of agree wouldnt mind settle/reflektor, or even just keep it as five
conatus Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Am I really going to have to sit through that Daft Punk album again?
smholiv Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 what about: Yeezus/VW/Haim/Acid Rap/Reflektor/Settle?

Only reason i'm kinda iffy on Acid Rap is because it's not available for streaming but then again that didn't stop u guys from rating a Joanna Newsom album.
smholiv Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Well the original line up was: Kanye/VW/Chance/Haim/Daft and either Janelle or MBV. Rather than sub Neko in I think people would prefer Disclosure or Arcade Fire and it seems DP aren't wanted either nnn
Tom Vercetti Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Kanye/VW/Chance/Haim/Reflektor and either RAM/Settle for the electronic submission (P&J has RAM as their top choice for that) I don't know how well MBV would perform since Shoegaze albums doesn't receive much reception here anyway.
Eeveelution Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Neko's album is certainly better than Settle.
K$Ellie Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 @Ace Reject could I start the Kesha essentials rate in the next week or so?
smholiv Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Kanye/VW/Chance/Haim/Reflektor/RAM then? I can start by the end of the week once the lineup is settled. I checked and Chance's mixtape is available on Youtube to stream so that shouldn't be too bad of an issue.

Or 2013, of course. Wasn't 2011 supposed to include St. Vincent? (Would definitely make that lineup less of a snooze).

His mixtape not being available all this time means most people aren't very familiar with it. if we are willing to use 2 Ariel Rechtshaid produced records, I don't see why we can't have both DP and Disclosure
volition Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 you could always break tradition and do 7 albums

Fine, sub out Disclosure for the Chance record. Ugh I'll need to host TW2006 so Neko can shine, huh?

smholiv Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 dd the trials this line up had gone through. We doing: Yeezus/MVOTC/RAM/Acid Rap/Days Are Gone/Settle. i'm keeping Chance, like I said it's on youtube so it's not an issue. I'm wrapping up graphics so it'll finally be up tomorrow!
Tom Vercetti Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Looks like LCD's American Dream is shaping up to be in TW2017. Can't wait for How Do You Sleep? to take the top spot

I'm reading Bowie begged them to make another record, maybe that's where the overrating comes from
smholiv Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Oh and I know I have the 97 Rebellion coming up after that, but I was also hoping at some point to pick up that rate that never got off the ground with Mirrorwriting/James Blake/On A Mission in the future (assuming anyone would be interested)
