greento Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 @Ace Reject i don't really like any of the Pop 2021 Rate ideas enough to host it sorry i noticed we never got to do a rate for a lot of good 2019 albums like NFR and Magdalene. Could i possibly do a rate of 2019 female alt pop albums? Maybe Lana, twigs, Caroline Polachek, Weyes Blood and Clairo? i feel like these are all pretty popular albums on here and need to be rated at some point

We've had TWO attempts at THIS WAS 2019 not get off the ground, but I feel like it needs to be properly rated! You know what @madonnas is doing "(Insert Year) Makes the Woman?" You could do your own version of that! Alongside the albums you mentioned, albums from 2019 from these women/NB people in female bodies haven't been rated: Solange Summer Walker Ari Lennox Tinashe Brittany Howard King Princess Tove Lo Sigrid Mabel Miranda Lambert Maren Morris I'd prefer you rate Lana, fka, and Solange together - the other two/three albums you add are up to you!

Lana, twigs, Solange, Caroline, Tove and Doja (i'm pretty sure this was never rated either). Excluding interludes it comes to 75 songs.

naval23 Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 @Ace Reject I'm thinking of doing an Ultimate 90s Female Pop Rate (with some classic 80s songs) - about 100 tracks, what do you think? I'll PM the list to you.
ATRL Moderator Ace Reject Posted July 23, 2022 Author ATRL Moderator Posted July 23, 2022 Please do - don't want it to cross-pollinate with rates I've done.

Saddy Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 @Ace Reject I want to do Aaliyah discography rate, can I do that?
ECNEICSNOC Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Suggesting a rate of all songs that have won a rate since there’s 100+. I did one on the OG ATRL, “Like a Prayer” won. I don’t wanna host it, but I’d love to participate.

smholiv Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 this is potentially niche but I had an idea about female indie folk/indie rock albums of 2020/2021 with a line up of: beadaboodee - Fake it Flowers Phoebe Bridgers - Punisher Soccer Mommy - Color Theory Snail Mail - Valentine Indigo De Souza - Any Shape You Take Clairo - Sling I would probably do 5 of these, I'm not sure if Punisher was used before though so I included 6

Maybe if you wanted to do 6 you could use Wolf Alice, Julien Baker or Lucy Dacus instead of Phoebe?

I'd use Wolf Alice out of those options, I think the other two wouldn't particularly have strong supporters so it'd be kind of fillery Fake it Flowers vs Color Theory vs Valentine vs Any Shape You Take vs Sling (+ vs Blue Weekend) would be super fun!
