Demi Lovato's Tell Me You Love Me World Tour Earns $20 Million in Opening Run

Heading up Billboard’s weekly slate of highest-grossing Hot Tours (see list, below) is Demi Lovato, who tallied more than $20 million during the opening leg of her 2018 Tell Me You Love Me World Tour. With concerts set in 20 cities in North America, the pop singer hit the road on Feb. 26 in support of her album Tell Me You Love Me. From her sold-out launch at San Diego’s Viejas Arena through the final concert Stateside at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on April 2, she performed for more than 262,000 fans.

The top grosser among the 20 venues on the tour’s first jaunt was Barclays Center in Brooklyn, with more than $1.5 million in revenue. The March 16 performance -- her first in the metropolitan New York City market on this tour -- logged a total sold ticket count of 15,249. Other highlights on the trek include Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., which drew the largest crowd on the run: A total of 16,141 tickets were sold at the arena for her sold-out stint on March 24.

But she's still grossing an average of 1M per tour date so it doesn't matter ???
