Monky_2405 Posted November 10, 2017 Author Posted November 10, 2017 WEEK 38 We're one week away from the day Camila Cabello and Young Thug ties Katy Perry for the longest #1 with "Havana", the huge latin-flavored hit spends a 5th week at #1. Stuck at #2 for the third week in a row is Rita Ora with "Anywhere". In the meantime Selena Gomez reaches the top4 for the first time as a lead artist as "Wolves" climbs to #4. Migos, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are new entries in the Top 10 since "Motor Sport" climbs 16 spots and reaches #10. While Nicki isn't new to the Top 10 (she topped the chart twice this years) this is Migos second top 10 hit, the first as lead artists (they reached top 10 as featured artists in the "Bon Appetit" song by Katy Perry) and Cardi B's first top 10 single ever! Liam Payne scores a new Top20 single as "Bedroom Floor" surge to #20, it's curious to see how three spots in a row (19-20-21) are all taken from ex members of the One Direction band. Talking about new entries they are all in the second half of the chart this week, with the higher being the comeback Rihanna-assisted single by N*E*R*D*, "Lemon". Keep also an eye on "Decline" by Raye and Mr. Eazi (#70) , "Say That Again" by Eden xo featuring Travis Mills (#97), the new "Casanova" version featuring Vérité by Allie X (#91) and the brand new single by Ashanti featuring Ty Dolla $ign "Say Less" (#96), since all of them will probably jump a lot next week since they are now on heavy rotation. Also, new in the chart at #72 is the last promo single Taylor Swift released from "reputation", "Call It What You Want". Check the full chart below: OUT THIS WEEK: Spoiler Louis Tomlinson – "Back To You” Peak: 8 Wks: 14 Selena Gomez – “Fetish (feat. Gucci Mane)” Peak: 6 Wks: 15 Logic – “1-200-273-8255 (feat. Alessia Cara & Khalid)” Peak: 23 Wks: 19 St. Vincent – “Los Ageless" Peak: 68 Wks: 3 Maty Noyes – “Say It To My Face” Peak: 41 Wks: 8 Fifth Harmony – "He Like That (French Montana Remix) (feat. Monky_2405 Posted November 16, 2017 Author Posted November 16, 2017 WEEK 39 What happened to the chart this week? The Answer is easy...TAYLOR SWIFT! The top 7 stays unchanged since last week. "Gorgeous" rise back thanks to the amount of plays recieved by the whole "reputation" album. In spite of them tho, "Call it What You Want" is out from this week's chart, due to a new rule about promo singles I applied to this song as a test. "MotorSport" rises from last week postition to #9, reaching a new peak. The X Factor performance helps Paloma Faith, "Guilty" is almost top 10 this week peaking at #11. Good news also for Clean Bandit and Julia Michaels, their collaboration "I Miss You" is #13. Also this week, a big return, after her performance at the EMAs, Kesha is back in the chart with her latest single "Learn To Let Go", the song re-enters at #14 spending a 6th week on the chart after being released as a promo single this summer. On the "new entries" side we have Eminem and Beyoncè starting at #58 with "Walk On Water", a poor result considering the potential. Highest debut is the one Ed Sheeran achieved with his latest single off Divide, "Perfect", the song after its video premiere debuts, after a few weeks of airplay, at #29. Jennifer Lopez's second single "Amor, Amor, Amor" featuring Wisin starts, in the meantime, at #48. About the #1 song, this week "Havana" spends a 6th week at the top, matching the record Katy has since the beginning of the year for the longest #1 song with "Chained To The Rhythm". Monky_2405 Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 WEEK 40 Camila Cabello's "Havana" spends a 7th week a #1, becoming the longest #1 ever in this chart. The cuban Beyoncé takes the crown off Katy Perry's head, who spent 6 weeks at #1 with her single "Chained To The Rhythm" early this year. Rita Ora's "Anywhere" is still stuck at #2, but it's likely to become the next #1 as the gap is getting smaller every week. Top 5 is stable this week and we have a new entry in the Top 10 as Clean Bandit reaches a new peak at #7 with "I Miss You", letting Julia Micheals have her first Top 10 in the chart. If Bebe Rexha is very close to the top 10 with the Florida Georgia Line assisted single "Meant To Be", "What About Us" by P!NK leaves it the same week the second single from "Beautiful Trauma", the title track, debuts at #69, thanks to plays it had midweek with the video release. "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran reaches top 20 climbing to #14 while Mariah Carey's "The Star" and RAYE's "Decline" are the biggest gainers this week thanks to the videos effect. Hot Shot Debut for "Echame La Culpa" by Luis Fonsi and Demi Lovato, the song starts at #23. Other debuts are for Steve Aoki and Lauren Jauregui's "All Night" at #61, Leon's "I Believe In Us" at #71, Madison Beer with "Say It To My Face" at #87, Jessie J's "Queen" at #97, with this being a big failure if compared to her previous debuts. "Rewrite The Stars" by Zac Efron and Zendaya from The Greatest Showman Soundtrack and "Save it Til Morning" by Fergie manage to debut in the lower part of the chart thanks to early midweek airplay.
