Graduation Posted August 16, 2021 Author Posted August 16, 2021 (edited) 08:15- MONTH:DAY The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber vs. Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow for #1 + The Weeknd debuts top 10 with “Take My Breath” DAY:YEAR -21:21 • The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber stayed at #1 last week as their collaborative hit single “Stay” took the top spot in consecutive weeks. Will they make it three weeks in a row at #1, or can Olivia Rodrigo return to the top with her “good 4 u”? “Bad Habits” by Ed Sheeran is another former #1, and could very well get a third week at #1 this week. But the biggest challenge might come from Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow, who have yet to hit #1, but in just their third week on the countdown, the sky is still the limit for “INDUSTRY BABY”. • There’s good news and bad news for Doja Cat this week, as she scores the week’s greatest gainer as well as the week’s biggest fall. Where will “You Right” and “Kiss Me More” land on this week’s chart? • Speaking of Doja Cat, she’s one of four artists returning to the countdown this week, as she is back with “Need To Know.” Elsewhere, Post Malone returns with “Motley Crew,” Camila Cabello is back with “Don’t Go Yet,” and Duncan Laurence returns after a 15-week (!) absence with “Arcade”. The week’s two debuts this week come from Kane Brown and blackbear on “Memory,” while The Weeknd is back like he never left, as “Take My Breath” launches inside the top 10.
