ET is flawless and one of my fave Katy songs but I think Kanye's verse sounding very rent-a-rapper-esque, plus the solo version being MILES better is what hurt it. I mean Kanye was tacked on there literally for chart success...

While I agree that the solo version is MIIIIIIIIIILES better than the single version, E.T. would have succeeded with or without Kanye. It's Kanye's first number one jsyk.
