Soylent Green Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 (edited) Well, Beyonce won at the end uh... Now that we have the winner of the 00s, I wonder who will be slammed next.. Edited February 6, 2018 by Soylent Green
Rico Shameless v2 Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 It was a horrible performance. But really, we have nothing to compare this to. These shows really do focus more on the touring aspect, performing the hits with sprinkle of new material, sometimes. And the Super Bowl audience isn’t watching the game for potentially purchasing the new music by the halftime artist. So there’s no guarantee there’d be some rush to iTunes. It was dumb he didn’t do Say Something with Chris. That really would’ve got the fingers moving. But the show was a disemboweled mess altogether, so I’m glad it didn’t included. Would’ve been a missed opportunity either way. And the overall is still that these are weak numbers for his name. But it is also a bad album, so it isn’t so shocking. Do we even the know raw numbers or is 300-315k not SPS?

Divine Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Quote Though we initially expected it to bow as high as 700k+ (probably because we forgot to plug in our abacus), Justin Timberlake's Man of the Woods (RCA) now appears on track for a first-week total in the neighborhood of 250k-275k. Streaming accounts for less than 20% of that total. JT's Super Bowl halftime performance does not appear to have boosted the underperforming set. http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=310409

Divine Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Almost as bad as those iconic Teenage Dream 750k predictions.
Armani? Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 The pure sales aren't tragic. The streaming isn't that good though...

Thuggin Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Not bad, but I was definitely expecting a lot more with the Super Bowl.
Idontcareaboutyou Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Too bad he had the SB, this could have been much more iconic without it.
