If this doesn't include the SB boost then 350k is pretty good. :clap3:

Not random. The only pure pop artists who can still pull big number are JT, Taylor and Adele. Beyonce too. I said that because she has the pop fans and urbans fans love her too. That's all.

Most of my friends who listen to Kanye or Drake for example are Beyonce stans too. but they wouldn't touch a Taylor or Adele record. That's all.

Bieber as well.

Their 300-350k prediction is attempting to take the SB boost into account. His predictions may increase after the show, but I doubt it will be a +200k increase. :rip:

I’m sure he can do it! ATRL told me he was the king of pop so I expect a big boost :clap3:

200k is a complete disaster

300k is pretty bad

400k is decent, but a little underwhelming

500k is good

600k is great

700k+ is huge

These are the realistic (SPS) standards for the album of an A-lister coming back from the biggest hit of his career with a launch that included 3 singles, all sent to multiple radio formats, promoted heavily on Spotify and receiving official videos. And, most importantly, the Superbowl.

Exciting :duca:

I could see 500-600k with a good show on Sunday. I bet his catalog ends up doing well regardless though

Same. Won’t cross 700k physical.

No girl. You are doing too much the reality:

200k would be a collasal flop

300k would be very underwhelming with SB

400k will be respectable with SB

500k would be good

600k would be great

700k would be amazing

800k+ would be outstanding/phenomenal

I'll predict 300k since album sales are the pits and he has no smash hits this era.

'Say Something' has potential but i heard he will be performing 'Filthy'.

Most "pop fans" don't even like Beyoncé anymore, so.

And there are plenty of urban music listeners who buy Justin Timberlake albums (or used to, anyway). Country music fans buy Taylor albums. Every artist has their niches. Quit trying to discredit Beyoncé.

He’ll by around more life in the end imo. Or at least be the highest debut by a male singer in a very long time. He still has the highest debut by a male artist (pure) this decade and this is 22 years in his career, impressive. :clap3:

And is this prediction SPS? Because on page 2 I predicted a minimum of 375k in pure sales. :doc:

Wow your prediction is clearly the standard the entire industry should follow

idk why but I see him doing 440k-470k

Yikes. What a steep decline from 900k with 20/20. :doc:

Even with the SB, he’s gonna do less. I guess this is okay considering the bad press of the album. I don’t think it will do well after the SB hype wears off tbh.

Imagine pretending that the climate hasn’t completely changed in the past five years. :skull:

Still selling more than his peers.

His last album in feb did like 900k right? So basically his fan base is cut in half. It was exactly 5 years. It feels like another Eminem situation... but with much less chance for JT to recover from it.

I hope he does 400-450k to match my prediction :fish1:

lol sure

His problem is that his streaming is pretty weak so as the market shrinks his debuts will become weaker and weaker even accounting for SPS as he can't make up for lost pure sales with streaming.

Since he’s the king of pop anything below 1M would be a huge disappointment.

less than 1M the week of the SB is a joke. drake deleted him twice why

Stay mad. The truth is Justin is selling much less than previously. I made a mistake in that its exactly 5 years since the previous release. Sure record sales are halved more so now but Justin isn't a streaming monster. What you are left with is someone who can't make up the difference. Does anyone expect Justin's second week to be good or ok? I feel like the era will be over once the week is over.

Terrible numbers.

Filthy must have really done a number on him for these to be his sales with all the SB hype. Talent lost I guess?

We’ll see if the SB will boost him to over 500k. Because these numbers look very similar to the Ed Sheeran/Weeknd’s who didn’t have as much going for them.

The Superbowl literally hasn't happened yet sis... HDD can't predict what the response will be after the performance. They're literally just guessing. There's no such thing as a pre-Super Bowl, Super Bowl boost. Maybe they are right, maybe they are wrong, but I can't with ya'll dragging JT for laughably unofficial numbers. If you want to drag him by all means do it... but do it after the actual sales numbers are released late next week whether they be lower or higher than the current predictions.

It was the opposite. I was claiming she's one of the only artists who still can pull big numbers and appeal to both pop and urban audiences. :toofunny3: calm down.

Won't be for long :gaycat1: and that's saying a lot when it debuted a year ago with one of the biggest hits of the decade

And by the time that happens he'll be 30 years in as an established legend and it won't matter as he'll be going on sold out tours.

OT: Can't wait for the show tomorrow :clap3:
