Whatever, it's obvious Beyoncé Has been much bigger than Katy.

And Britney too, bigger impact, bigger peak, bigger sales, more hit songs, more iconic videos, more iconic performances, has been the model to follow for every popstar. Britney has at least 4 songs that are bigger than any Katy song ever lol

why so pressed? anyway Firework is bigger than all Britney's songs except BOMT...

Well, Toxic and other Britney hits did not hit #1 in the largest music market in the world while Katy s hit dominated.... so i dont know why it s so surprising Katy has more songs on the world chart.

It doesn't change the that overall, Britney was a bigger act.

That's not correct, Shakira has at least 3 real global smashes with Whenever Wherever, HDL and Waka Waka?

Waka Waka didn't make the list cause it under-performed in the biggest music market in the world and a few other large markets.

For some reason, some people (mostly European) keep acting like having a #1 on Switzerland is the same thing as having a #1 in the USA.

WAKA WAKA PEAKS:

#38 in the US

#34 in New Zealand

#32 in Australia

#21 in the UK

#11 in Canada

Waka Waka sold 1.7M in pure sales in the US and 400.000 in the UK. It was #1 in Germany + France (3rd and 5th biggest music market). It was definitely a hit thanks to longevity.

Mediatraffic is not accurate :rip:

AIWFCIY has sold over 10m units and is not listed as her most successful one... Without You has sold around 3,8m (with unknown digital figures).

That site only counts sales airplay and since quite recently streaming when a song is in their top 40... Christmas has sold 3,2m in the USA, 1,9m in Japan and 1,5m in the UK for christ's sake.

Wow. Janet with 2 global hits. ATRL told me she was purely local :cm:

I also would think Whitney would have more but still :clap3:doing a lot better than some "global" artists missing from this list.
