Then you should watch Only God Forgives and The Place Beyond the Pines. From there you could also watch Half Nelson, Lars and the Real Girl and Blade Runner 2049 :flower:

:mazen:  one of the worst movies I've ever watched! Don't waste the two hours on this!

I watched Marley and Me yesterday. I cried at the ending. A beautiful demonstration of interspecies relationships.

What, why? :psyduck:

Watched The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo last night, it was great, I loved its length and how it had plot within a plot.

gurl I was in a group of 5 friends and it was my turn to suggest a movie and I picked it only cuz I wanted to see Ryan Gosling's hot ass. :eli:

The movie ended up being too complex, nobody understood anything and I was embarrassed for picking it :rip:

Gone Girl :jonny5:

What a movie :jonny6:

I knew most of the spoilers from it thanks to pics and videos going viral on twitter of naked Ben Affleck and NPH back in the day which exposed the twists and turns for me when I saw them, and despite that I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, I couldn't fall asleep after it, that's how excited movie made me :jonny6:

Burlesque - 8/10

avoided watching because i’m not a massive fan of xtina, but my housemates wanted to watch it. What a fab movie! Obviously not a masterpiece but I loved the musical aspects and Cher obviously. I enjoyed Christina’s character for the first half of the movie but by the end she became a bit annoying, felt sorry for the man she moved in with, kicking him out of his bedroom :deadbanana4:

watched the lovely bones. good movie but some parts of it were a bit ridiculous - 3/5

some thoughts that came to mind as i was watching (spoilers!!):

Spoiler
  • the actress playing the grandma is wayyy to young to be a grandma
  • saoirse ronan looks like a baby here yet her classmates look wayyy older
  • uggh Mr Harvey is so manipulative and creepy
  • why aren't susie's parents worried about her not rocking up to dinner? cannot relate. my mum would go batsh*t
  • oh no susie run sis RUN this man is a pedo wtfff
  • omg wtf is this bathtub scene
  • the green screen/effects of the afterlife are :skull:
  • why is he talking about taxes
  • ayyy the dog is sniffing him out
  • how is she a grandma at 35 :skull:or is she just lying about her age
  • wtf her mum just abandons her kids
  • lmao at the asian girls watching Lindsay
  • Ray (susie's crush) looks so much older than susie
  • oh no he better not go after Lindsay as well wtf stay away from her
  • finally the dad is suspecting the creepy old man
  • wtf he just figured it was jack just like that - some knots he tied and he just figured it out
  • omg no wtf the dad better not kill him that's how you go to jail just get him ARRESTED
  • omg wtf now the dad's going to look like the killer
  • omg nooo holly was murdered by him too
  • you can fit a child in that box?
  • wtf why is the running guy leaving lindsay behind, especially knowing that her sister was murdered in the same neighbourhood
  • this is giving me so much anxiety - lindsay is gonna get caught
  • yes girl run!
  • wtf susie is possessing her now and ray can see her
  • wait susie's friend is a teen parent now??? or is she all grown up
  • wait so that's how he dies - an icicle drops on him and he falls :monkey:

The Man From U.N.C.L.E : 10/10.

Didn't expect to be as snazzy and funny as it was. Had a derpy smile on my face throughout it. Edited really nicely and I never saw the appeal for Armie Hammer when CMBYN came out but I'm a fan! He has this quiet but deadly angsty demeanour that's attractive. Alicia Vikander is stunning and she was solid in this! Loved her chemistry with Armie's character.

Henry...I mean, that's self-explanatory. Dapper, sexy and MC-All-Day-Every-Day. I like how the womanising side to him wasn't shoved in our faces to reiterate that he was a lady's man.

I don't usually go back to films and rewatch them but this is definitely one I can keep going back to!

Booksmart

Moonrise Kingdom - this was really cute movie, so warm and lighthearted, but not necessary something I will re-watch in future, it's not really my cup of tea.
