Okay guys, I updated the OP, I'm sorry I had trouble with my wifi. A Star Is Born (Soundtrack) passes 5m SPS WW + Shallow entered the all-time charts of Mediatraffic with 6,313,000 points, it's her fifth song to do so.

Yes, sorry for not posting an update, I was hoping to see official numbers somewhere but alas, that has not happened yet. So using HDD's estimates (which are usually lower that the real numbers anyways), it should be at around ~2,017,623 SPS as of last Friday.

It would have to average ~29k SPS to get there by the beginning of January, ~26k to get there by the end of January, and ~23.5k to get there by the end of February. So I guess it technically could happen, especially with the boosts the cable/streaming release of the movie, LG6, and any big public appearance of hers will provide, but the chances are still pretty slim in my opinion. I'd be more hopeful that it can reach the mark by mid-late 2020.

 

Then again, I thought Shallow would stall out at 500-600M Spotify streams, and here we are.  Glad I was wrong about that one.

And is Sept 1 about the voting on noms or about the winners? If its about noms then maybe by the time they start voting for winners  and ASIB reaches 3x Plat they could certify it before voting starts (cuz ASIB pretty much has the AOTY nom in the bag)
