This is off a lot. Billboard's list of her most streamed songs included audio + video streams. This list double counts video streams. For example, this list has Alejandro at 4x Platinum -- when it was only 2x Platinum in 2016, and is one of her weakest recurrent hits in US. 4x Platinum would imply that from 2016-2018, it did 2 million. Yet it only did 2 million during its run as a single from 2010-2015. This list would also imply Applause has done 2 million since 2016, when it is completely forgotten [unfortunately].
Blade Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Those numbers are wrong, unfortunately. BB called it "on demand" streams not "on demand audio streams". meaning it's combined.

Sorry for the mistake. I saw in this thread that they were only audio on-demand streams I will correct the values and repost here. Thanks for letting me know. But, one question: if we divide the streams from bad romance we will have 9,580,000 SPS and the song has sold over 11M SPS. Do you know why?

If I remember correctly (not sure tho) RIAA used WW streams at that time, that's why Baby and Bad Romance reached Diamond that fast.

If we use that 395M stream total for Bad Romance provided by BB, the song would only be at 9.85M SPS (and that's using 100 streams = 1 sale - if we use the updates 150:1 used by the RIAA from 2016-present, that SPS total would be even lower). Since we know that Bad Romance is 11x Platinum, it's clear that that number BB provided simply can't include YouTube. I can't speak to the accuracy of @GuusLima's YouTube numbers for every song other than those from ASIB since the YouTube charts page only goes back 12 months, but the streaming numbers BB provided definitely do not include YouTube. 10 minutes ago, Summer Boy said: If I remember correctly (not sure tho) RIAA used WW streams at that time, that's why Baby and Bad Romance reached Diamond that fast.
