Had she had a proper lead single I think the record would be close to 800k or more in pure sales. She is still doing really well on a sales front! Next era let's hope her team fixes her streaming issues though!

By improving her streaming (with better and more effective playlist exposure, both on YouTube and Spotify and with a more digestible sound for the masses - not necessarily more commercial), Joanne could’ve easily been a 2x Platinum record giving its current pure sales. That’s what they need to focus on for the next era. Pure sales are still great to look at, but for a 500,000 selling album, 2X platinum isn’t a far stretch in the streaming age. Even with a non-commerical sound, Joanne still managed to garner about 600 million Spotify streams and is currently at about 1.15 million RIAA units. Spotify numbers aren’t really that great overall, but still decent. What really needs a push are her YouTube statistics. Having a song sell over 1,1 million in pure sales with barely 120 million YT views (200 million including the audio clip) is quite a tragic feat, but understandable giving its bad replay value and exposure. Meanwhile, seems that people were more insterested in the song solely than in its music video, which is quite disappointing for such a visual artist as Gaga. Despite not being featured in big playlists for too long or not at all, it still managed 200 million Spotify streams, which is quite decent for a ballad. Edited February 14, 2018 by Dr.Cake

The straight up truth is that no one besides stans listens to the album. The international GP's favorite Gaga album is clearly The Fame Monster, hence its streams. The US also really likes Joanne.
