Denim Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 yeah if she continues to release songs like the cure and promote it on spotify her streaming can grow to katy perry level, which is really good for her... I think with good promo she is still capable of a big hit, joanne proved that if the cure got a full week of sales/streams + TTH day one it could've debuted top 20

If it actually crossed 1M, the Official Chart Company would have made an official announcment on Twitter, but they didn't. They automatically certify/acknowledge milestones, unlike in the US where you first have to fill out applications to get your certification.

BTW was at 986,847 in September 2014 based on official charts Nov 2013 numbers plus sales since then (UKMIX). It seems unlikely it only sold another 3K over 2 years and 4 months. Buzzjack estimated at the end of 2015 BTW was at about 997K (+10.1K over 16 months). At the end of 2016 they estimated it at 1,009,700 (+12.7K over 12 months with Joanne era bump). Obviously not official since they're rounding estimates, but it seems very likely it's over 1M. In other news, Poker Face should cross 7.5M in sales by November! Edited September 11, 2017 by Rusty
