Notably, 17 chart weeks in, the A Star Is Bornsoundtrack, featuring "Shallow," is already her fifth-best-selling album.

But that BB article was published on the Saturday just after week 18 ended, leading me to believe that it includes week 18. Plus, if you add up the sales data for each week, we get to just under 780,000 including week 18.

It's because HDD is underestimating ASIB both in pure and SPS.. Like we don't have the Nielsen pure sales figures of ASIB for months just the SPS only..

Like HDD Reported 1.26M SPS total when it's 1.35M SPS already in Nielsen by the end of Feb.14

Hoping for Billboard to publish an article when it cross 1M Pure Sales..

I really hate it when they don't publish ASIB's pure sales

Even so, I still think the figure they posted includes week 18 because they posted it after that week, implying the figure also included that week.

By the 13th week, only two of the numbers I posted were estimates, the rest being exact figures...I didn't realize HDD differences would add up so quickly. :skull: But when there's no exact figure, it's kinda the best we have, no? I'd rather underestimate than overestimate personally anyways.

Sorry for asking but where did you get the pure sales numbers for weeks 4-13??? Chartdata?? As far as i can remember the only confirmedt weeks are week 1,2,3,14,15&17 from Billboard article..

The rest are just from chartdata with SPS taken from BB and Pure Sales taken from HDD.. i read it somewhere that ChartData was just copying HDD's Pure Sales when there's no pure sales published from BB/Nielsen.. was it @ViviLittleM

Why does Youtube Insights claim ARUTW only has 100M? (filter by last 12 months)

lLc5Ked.png

These 3 videos alone are 123M views, @Almighty Gaga or anyone else have any idea?

Yeah I actually brought up the same thing a few days ago. If you filter by last 7 days (which actually filters by the last 6 days only lol), it shows 5.4m, which is 900k daily average. And right now it's doing 800k video + 100k audio + 500k lyrics = 1.4m.

Nothing is adding up at all, which is weird considering they have Shallow and INLA spot on

The algorithm of YouTube probably didn't recognize the lyric video (yet), meaning all the streams it gets won't be reported to Nielsen/RIAA as well.

Because the KeepMyWords video, which has exactly 23M views, isnt being counted.

I...actually don't remember for every week. :skull: Some were BB and others were ChartData on Twitter. But anyways it's clear that something is off, so I'll just stop keeping track for now. :spin:

An Oscar voter on "Best Actress"

"It’s very brave for women to lead films so I’m always excited to see this category, heck I think every women actor should be nominated! I know about Lady Gaga, but is that her real name? I think it would be smart for her to come out and finally reveal her real name because it may seem suspicious to keep that secret after all this time. The woman from Roma is nominated but no one will tell me which character she played. I think if a foreign film is nominated they should tell you exactly who the actor or actress plays because it can be confusing. I haven’t seen the Wife but I will vote for Glenn Close and I’ll let my wife know, she’ll get a kick out of that."
