Following a heated race to the finish line, Camila Cabello wins by a nose. The SYCO/Epic set Camila has gone #1 on our Top 50 Chart with 109k, edging past The Greatest Showman soundtrack, which bows at #2 with 104.5k.

This marks Cabello’s first #1 as a solo artist, yes, but also as an artist in general; she released two albums as part of Fifth Harmony, both of which enjoyed Top 5 debuts.

Stay tuned for the rest of the chart numbers, which we should have momentarily.

As of now, it looks like a battle at the top of our next chart, as Camila Cabello will try to unseat The Greatest Showman’s ST from atop the HITS Top 50, where it's spent the last two weeks. Cabello is projecting to 75-85k in total activity after one full day of sales and streams, 43-48k of that in album sales. The P.T. Barnum-inspired musical Showman saw only a modest drop last week after "This Is Me" won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song.

At the moment, it looks like a battle is brewing at the top of our next chart, as SYCO/Epic's Camila Cabello will try to unseat The Greatest Showman’s ST from atop the HITS Top 50, where it's spent the last two weeks. Update #3:

Camila Cabello’s strong performance in both sales and streams puts her in the lead for #1. It’s still close, however, as The Greatest Showman soundtrack nips at her heels. The Cranberries seem headed for the Top 20 following the death of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan.

In other news, marijuana has been legal for two weeks in California, and we can't feel our legs.

Update #4:

Quote

SYCO/Epic's Camila Cabello continues to battle The Greatest Showman soundtrack for #1 on this week's chart, with the latest projections putting both in the mid-to-upper-90k range. This one looks like it'll come down to the wire. Stay tuned.
