mxtthewdelrey Posted March 27, 2018 Author Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) THE QUARTER FINAL: "YOU'RE MY WORLD" In an ATRL's Song Contest: Season 12 first, this is the first (and only) team challenge of the season, testing how well you can make magic with others. This week, you will be working in teams of three - and I am trusting you all to divide up into three groups amongst yourselves. If people get into arguments, then I will team everyone up at random. So, yeah, form three teams in the thread and let me know who is with who! As you are in teams, the rule about only being allowed to use an artist once in a season will be relaxed this week. In each of your three teams (use a group PM or google doc to confer) you must submit SIX SONGS, and as someone cleverly guessed in the thread, you will be submitting a song from each continent. A song from Africa A song from Asia A song from Europe A song from North America A song from South America A song from Australia (Oceania) It's up to each team how you want to divide your work. Either you can discuss the six song choices as a group and decide upon them all together, or you can each have the responsibility for two songs. I recommend discussing your choices as a group because you must be aware of your own group's songs as you will not be allowed to give points to any songs from your own team. Each contestant will rank the other teams' songs individually. The reason why you must make sure you are all happy with your songs in the group is because the group of three people with the overall lowest score will all be eliminated. That's right, all three of you. Then, six contestants will move forward to the semi-final of ATRL's Song Contest - with more surprises to come.
