Song 24: Another Queen from the Island. I like her singles, but her non-singles for me are fillers. :michael:

Risky level: 80/100

Song 25: Interesting. I don't know how I feel about this at first listen. This is depressive but pleasant.

This honestly kind of sucks now that there’s no banned artists, everyone was so predictable

Song 27: I never could be into this genre. This is a better song than her other one in this round.

@prézli The dedication of listening to the other half of the songs when you don't even have to :clap3:

Where are everyone else's comments, huh?

Time for my live commentary no one will care about

SONG 1: That's how we're starting, eh? I think the song is fine and memorable, but it drags a lot. It should've been 3:20 maximum, not over 4 minutes.

Song 28: I think I recognized the artist. She used to have generic songs, but this is less generic, so I'm glad.

Song 29: Lol. It's been ages when I last heard her album. Not my favorite song from it, though.

Song 30: I like her voice and the minimal instrumentation as well. This is decent.

2 instrumental songs. Why ruin your song with crappy vocals & lyrics :clap3:

Song 2: First of, is this gonna be a running theme? Another song that overstays its welcome This one is worse, however, because the other song at least had a story of sorts. This one is a stream of consciousness that has no rights being over 3 minutes.

Second, The song is nice to groove to, but as soon as it ends I forget what it sounds like.

So, sorry -Artist-, this a bop, but an utterly forgetable one

Song 32: Is this Norah Jones? (I don't think so, tho.) Not my cup of tea. :michael:  This is too sad.

Song 33: STOP! All of her songs just sound similar.

Song 34: Yeah, she is an ATRL favorite. The instrumentation is scary. (Because she sings about devils?) I'm too angelic for it. :'(

Risky level: 10/100

BEST SONGS FROM FIRST HALF: Song 3, Song 7, Song 10

WORST SONGS FROM FIRST HALF: Song 6, Song 8, Song 11 (not to mention Song 16 because that alone is a joke)

Posted

Good luck, first half, you better not drag my favorites.

Song 3: I wish I could like this one a lot more. It is better than the previous song, with a more instrumentation and what I think is a Latino flavour sprinkled in. However, once we get halfway through, all the song elements clash together and clutter the whole thing and the singer's voice has some slight to mid annoying moments.

In the end, it still inches better than Song 2.
