It was a double album so every unit sold accounted for two units.

Come On Over is her only legit diamond album at around 15m.

The Woman In Me is at 7.7m (Fearless is at 7.1m), Up! Is at 5.5m (1989 and self-titled outsold), and her greatest hits is at 4.3m (Speak Now and Red outsold).

The Lord's album sales are actually on par with Shania's bar Come On Over.

Overcertifications can do wonders.

Both The Woman In Me and Come On Over had signicant sales from BMG. In fact, COO is BMG's biggest selling of all time, with sales of 2 M. If you want to look for an album sales with huge over-certifications, Garth Brooks Double Album. However, even sales total is just barely over 7 M, Garth has it certified at 21 M. He was just take the top Country music certification away from Twain.

Taylor ranks 6th among the best-selling female artists of the Soundscan era (1991-present). She is less than 5 million away from Shania. Also worthy of noting, among the top 10, only Shania and Taylor went multi-platinum with their most recent release with Taylor being the only one to have Her most recent album sell more than 6 million. Taylor will pass Shania soon. Maybe not with TS6 but She will eventually do it.
1. Mariah Carey (55 million)
2. Celine Dion (52.6 million)
3. Shania Twain (34.7 million)
4. Britney Spears (33.5 million)
5. Reba McEntire (30.5 million)
6. Taylor Swift (29.8 million)
7. Madonna (28.5 million)
8. Enya, (27.3 million)

We can't be so sure. They're 5M apart and Shania is releasing her LP5. So lets just hope for the best.

Are you sure? We're also not so sure TS6 will scan more than 5xPlatinum in this age. But I think 4xP ala SN and Red is on lock. It all depends on the lead single tbh.

I think it could do 3x Plat in pure sales and 5x Plat SPS + she has strong catalog sales. 1989 will sell a lot, too.

She better sell a lot plus her catalog sales. Shania might scan Gold, so Taylor will have to sell more than 5M in US alone to pass her.

Wow SIO was that big in UK?

Yeah, it only got blocked at #2 because she took it off of Spotify mid-week.

Anyway.... so far for LWYMMD

#1 UK (first #1)

#1 Scotland (third #1)

#1 Ireland (first #1)

#1 New Zealand (fourth #1)

#4 France (highest peaking song to date)

#4 Germany (higher peak than SIO; 5th top 10 to date)

#7 Norway (this one is a bit underwhelming, but rising on Spotify; hopefully it peaks in top 5)

#9 Sweden (gaining here on Spotify a lot)

#10 Italy (same peak as SIO; 3rd top 10 there. Italy is not here for her, but at least it's top 10 -- jumped a lot on Spotify yesterday)

#18 Belgium (#2 on iTunes, and top 5 on Spotify, so not sure what's happening there, maybe different tracking week or smth)

#20 Netherlands :rip: (Not surprised. It's been rising on Spotify for 3-4 days now, so hopefully top 10 next week.)

#77 US (will be #1 on Monday)

That's about how much Bey is at for her solo career. Next up, Rihanna.
