TOP 100 SINGLES

(#80 - #71)

RECAP

Spoiler

100. Paramore, "Fake Happy"

99. Julia Michaels, "Issues"

98. Beck, "Up All Night"

97. Zedd & Alessia Cara, "Stay"

96. St. Vincent, "Los Ageless"

95. Charlie Puth, "How Long"

94. Iggy Azalea feat. Anitta, "Switch"

93. Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa, "Scared To Be Lonely"

92. Green Day, "Revolution Radio"

91. Miguel feat. Natalia Lafourcade - Remember Me (Dúo)

90. Selena Gomez & Marshmello, "Wolves"

89. Luis Fonsi & Demi Lovato, "Echame La Culpa"

88. Macklemore feat. Kesha, "Good Old Days"

87. Britney Spears feat. Tinashe, "Slumber Party"

86. ZAYN & Taylor Swift, "I Don't Wanna Live Forever"

85. SZA, "The Weekend"

84. Charli XCX, "Boys"

83. Bruno Mars, "24k Magic"

82. Dua Lipa, "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)"

81. The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk, "Starboy"

80.png  Avicii feat. Rita Ora, "Lonely Together"

This has been a good year for Rita. I hope she can finally release her second album.

This Avicii collaboration is one of her 3 entries in my Top 100 Singles this year (her 2 solo singles are coming later :duca: ).

79.png Louis Tomlinson feat. Bebe Rexha & Digital Farm Animals, "Back to You"

Louis is my least favorite 1D ex-member (the filler of the group) but I have to admit that he proved me wrong with this single.

78.png  Future, "Mask Off"

I never thought I would enjoy a solo Future song but this one is really good.

77.png  Calvin Harris feat. Frank Ocean & Migos, "Slide"

This collaboration has become in one of the most acclaimed works of Calvin during his career. It's not my favorite single of his new album but it's still very good and probably one of the few times I've enjoyed a Frank Ocean song.

76.png  Sean Paul feat. Dua Lipa, "No Lie"

I feel like this collaboration put Dua in the map, it was a good combination and it was one of favorite bops at the beginning of 2017.

75.png  Taylor Swift, "…Ready For It?"

A very messy single release. I like the song and it had potential but the video was so boring.

74.png  Ed Sheeran, "Galway Girl"

I used to hate this song at the beginning, but it eventually grew up on me. I still think it's one of his weakest singles.

73.png  Maluma, "Felices Los 4"

A guilty pleasure. I like it basically because of the rhythm (and the steamy video also helps :eli: ), but the lyrics are cringe.

72.png  DJ Khaled feat. Rihanna, Bryson Tiller, "Wild Thoughts"

This wasn't as great as expected but it was very catchy. The legendary sample and Rihanna saves it. That Bryson Tiller guy wasn't needed it though.

71.png  Thomas Rhett, “Star Of The Show”

This is one of my favorite country-pop songs of the year (it was released in late 2016 though) and the video is also very creative.

Agree on Ready for It such a wasted smash.

Galway Girl is okay but one of Ed's worst singles. In fact his worst only after Sing.

72. DJ Khaled feat. Rihanna, Bryson Tiller, "Wild Thoughts"

71. Thomas Rhett, “Star Of The Show”

70.png  Post Malone feat. 21 Savage, "rockstar"

Not really a fan Post Malone but I can't deny that I liked "rockstar". It's the only song I like from him so far though.

69.png  Lady Gaga, "Million Reasons"

One of her best vocal performances. This single was the saving grace of the Joanne era and the Super Bowl performance gave it the push it needed.

2016 Rank: #56

68.png  Selena Gomez, "Bad Liar"

OK, I like this song and I think the sample was very genius but the acclaim it's getting by critics is just ridiculous at this point.

67.png  The xx, "On Hold"

I checked this song at the beginning of the year and I liked it at first listen. Their voices are so enjoyable in this track.

66.png  Brett Young, "In Case You Didn't Know"

In Case You Didn't Know, he was the best new country artist of the year. Such a nice song.

65.png  Harry Styles, "Two Ghosts"

With his debut album Harry showed a totally different side of him. "Two Ghosts" is one of my favorite songs of his album and the live version of the video is even better.

64.png  Prince Royce & Shakira, "Deja Vu"

All I can say about this is that I liked Shakira doing bachata.  :cm:

63.png  Anne-Marie, "Ciao Adios"

This is one of the greatest bops of the year. :jamming: Of the new pop girls Anne-Marie is one of the most underrated. Let's hope she can finally release her debut album soon.

62.png  U2, "You’re The Best Thing About Me"

This song was a great choice for a comeback single. One of their best singles released this decade.

61.png  Clean Bandit feat. Zara Larsson, "Symphony"

I ended up liking this song more than Rockabye. IMO this collaboration with Clean Bandit is the best thing Zara Larsson has done.
