because this ain't arbitrary! again.. amazing banner by @clue! after we have five amazing winners (@mokitsu @Overprotected @Element @Tom Vercetti @ATRL Username) from ASC, bbz era, the new season has arrived! for our new season, we are still looking for the BEST to take on different themes and different tastes in order to become the next ASC's champion. throughout the season, baby z, along side my production team, element, clue, and touch it, is going to take you to a WILD WILD journey and it's gonna leave you screaming YEEHAW! it's time for our 20th season to begin and we're gonna slay with great ratings! What is it? Every round, you must send in a song to meet a specification for that particular round. After everyone has submitted their song, each contestant will be given a playlist with every song, and they must then listen to them and rank them (not including their own song). Based on these rankings, all scores from each contestant will be combined and the contestants with the lowest overall score will be eliminated. This format will continue until we are left with the winner of ATRL's Song Contest. We still keep the banned artists and banned songs from the last season, so please check the list before sending your entry. You can't send in songs and artists which have been banned. This season, again, the banned artists list has been lifted. No one is banned, yet. However, unlike other seasons, the artists can only be used TWICE before they get banned. Also, you'll be allowed to openly discuss the artists/songs sent every round x There are some adjustment to the rules like where you can send the entries and rankings so please read them again. What are the rules? Twist The winner for each round will get to choose the theme for the next round.

Golden Hit: Season 6 Hey, Hitmakers! ATRL's ultimate songwriting game is returning in 2024 with a fresh new look, brand new challenges, and even a new co-host. ATRL songwriting royalty and winner of the sophomore season of Golden Hit, @Hug, will be hosting alongside me this season. 🪷 The Game 🪷 For anyone unfamiliar, Golden Hit is a lyric writing game. Over six rounds, writers will be issued prompts designed to inspire song lyrics for submission to Golden Hit's judging panel. Providing detailed feedback through personalized reviews, the panel will give each entry a score out of ten. Scores are averaged across the panel, determining each song's final score and rank for the round. The writer with the highest overall average score at the end of the game wins the title of ATRL's newest Golden Hitmaker, and a shiny ribbon to commemorate their victory. Last season Golden Hit's winner was determined by the average of each writer's top five scores, and this season we are reprising this format. This allows writers room for experimentation without fear a risk will negatively impact their overall performance. It also benefits writers who may be uninspired by a specific prompt, or cannot submit during a round for any reason. As always, the top three writers of each round will earn themselves a Golden, Silver, or Bronze Hit Token, customized as per request. Loyal players who do not place within the top three of any round and submit for at least three rounds will be issued a special Rose Gold Hit Token. 🪷 The Judging Panel 🪷 @Aurora @Hug @Hey Dude 🪷 Season Overview 🪷 New challenges will be posted weekly, with submissions typically due within five days of a round being posted. Judging will take place between rounds, with reviews usually posted within three days of a challenge's deadline. As there are no eliminations in Golden Hit, any writer who signs up for this game may submit for as many or as few challenges as they wish. Writers may join the game at any point, despite missing earlier rounds, or skip a round if needed and return for the next. ATRL Hunger Games Hosted by gardendreams and Seffers Welcome to ATRL Hunger Games! ATRL is on the hunt for its first victor. In this game adaptation of the popular book and movie series, you will try to survive…. everything. You will be randomly assigned a district and a partner. As a tribute you will spend each round plotting the death of the others. While facing mini-challenges, curveball twists from game masters and viewers. This will be a true test of your psyche and your ability to last. Only one winner at the end will stand. We are looking for 24 tributes to play in 12 Districts. Do you have what it takes? How to play Each tribute will be starting with 4 life points. Tributes will lose their life points if they are one of the highest targeted people in that round. Once you are at 0 life points, you are dead. Throughout the game there will be challenges to recover these life points or to obtain other advantages. Each round the tributes vote for someone to eliminate- these votes will be public after the end of voting. Time Involvement This game will require daily involvement, a minimum of 10 minutes a day to chat, strategize with your fellow tributes and submit votes. Mini-challenges are required and will take less than 3 minutes to complete. The more time you put into the game, the more you get out of it! The game will take roughly 5-6 weeks to complete. Welcome to the SIXTEENTH season of one of ATRL's biggest games -- Let's Spoon! _________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the first season of five in The Age of Alchemy era, which will culminate in an All Stars season (20). All star contestants will be selected from each season between 16-19, and the season 20 champion will win a cash prize! _________________________________________________________________________________________ This tournament is an online adaptation of musical chairs! It is based on the iconic card game Spoons. Here's a quick TLDR summary of how it works: - Each day, there is a LIVE challenge (first one on Tuesday, March 5). - The first person to complete the challenge wins the first "spoon", which I announce in the thread. - After I announce the first spoon, everyone else in the game has to post the word "spoon" in the thread to stay in the game. - Like musical chairs, there is one less spoon than the number of players each round - so the last person left who does not post "spoon" will be eliminated. - This same process repeats each round. Note that some rounds will eliminate more than one player. This game will require a daily check-in that takes less than a minute! Welcome one and all to... Arbitrary Song Contest, Season 2! I am bringing back one of the best song sending games with permission from @minho, the game's originator. You can view Season 1 here for reference. How It Works This game is a spin on other ATRL song sending games such as ATRL's Song Contest. Each round, you send me a song of your choosing via ATRL PMs or Discord. Then, you listen to a playlist of all the songs, and rank your top 10. The person(s) who sent the song(s) with the lowest ranking/least points is eliminated! This goes on until a winner is crowned. The twist of this game is that every round, three specific criteria will be selected from a list. Let's say the themes one round are (1) song must begin with V, (2) song must be by an American artist, and (3) song must be a #1 hit on Billboard. I could send Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo, because it fits all the criteria given. The HOH will proceed to nominate two houseguests for eviction where they will be given the chance to win the veto to save themselves. If veto is used the HOH will nominate another houseguest to replace them. The two houseguests nominated on eviction day will have one final plea and then the rest of the house (except HOH unless a tie is involved) will vote one of the two nominees out. But be warned expect the unexpected as twists will occur and drama will ensue. The concept of Holiday Hit is simple: players write a song inspired by the festive season, which will be reviewed, scored, and ranked by a panel of your fellow songwriter judges. Ultimately, like Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” most years without fail, one song will be presented with the gift of being named the Holiday Hit of the season. This year, however, Holiday Hit plans to enlist an all-new panel of judges: Santa’s Helpers! Yet per tradition, the only writers they’ll allow to participate in the contest are other Elves. ❄️ Special Overview ❄️ Writers will submit their seasonal songs anonymously, instead adopting an “Elf Name”. This may be something you’ve created yourself, or acquired using an Elf Name Generator. Elves have five days to submit songs via Google Forms before the judging phase begins. Please do not announce your Elf Name publicly! Your submissions are anonymous. During the judging phase, Elves will be provided with a Google Doc containing all songs. Elves will also be provided with a judging Google Form, in which they reveal their identity. Golden Hit has already showcased four seasons of talent and creativity, and during its fifth we hope to host another full of fun, helpful feedback, and excellent songwriting. The first round starts on Saturday 21st, so sign up now! 📀 The Game 📀 For anybody who hasn’t taken part previously, Golden Hit is a songwriting based game. The concept is simple: each round, writers will be given unique weekly prompts designed to inspire players to write lyrics to be submitted for review by Golden Hit’s judging panel. WE ARE BACK WITH SEASON 14!! Since 2012, ATRL Survivor has crowned twelve winners (borntodie, Adr, –brian, Yvess, Element, URBAN, Aciid, kipperskipper, dussymob, Buddy!, boys, Rotunda, wish). Now it's time to begin the fourteenth (!!!!) installment of the Survivor franchise that began eleven years ago. How does the game of Survivor work? The Game: Up to 24 contestants will be placed into tribes during the pre–merge phase. Each round before the Merge is quite simple to complete – you will be given a theme and must submit a song that best represents that theme. Once you send in a song and it hasn't been chosen, it's LOCKED in. The judging panel then rates your song on a scale of 1 to 10 based on how well it fits the theme. You and your tribe members' scores are tallied up, then averaged into one final number. The tribe with the lowest overall average then heads to Tribal Council where one member is voted off. The process repeats until a certain number of you remain (called the Merge) and your challenges then become more complex. Contestants then will become part of the Jury where they eventually vote for the winner. Reminders: We give the contestants 24 hours to send in a song (although it often takes less) during the beginning rounds. That may sound like a short amount of time, but all you are doing is sending a song with no explanation required. Some rounds you'll submit within a couple minutes. ATRL's original game "Choose The Album, Then a Song" formerly hosted by @Pedro is back after almost seven years(!!!!) for its anticipated tenth season. RULES (PLEASE READ): 1. You'll be playing with one album the entire game. During each round, you'll select a song that best fits the theme then provide an explanation for your choice. 2. Judging panel is 75% (rating entries from one to ten) and contestant voting is 25% (ranking entries; two groups for the first couple rounds). Very brief explanation of ranking by contestants - just of top/bottom placements - is required to avoid voter manipulation. 'Slasher!' is a multiplayer Survivor/Mafia-style forum game where 2 rival factions battle to become the last team standing. The Camper Team must vote out all the hidden Slasher Team members before they themselves are killed! The Slasher Team must hide among the Campers and kill all the Campers! How does Slasher work? Much like Survivor, each Round starting with the Slasher Team will vote for a Player to be Vote-Killed. The Player with the majority of Votes is eliminated from the Game. The Camper Team then will vote for a Player to be Vote-Killed. The game continues until all Players from one team are eliminated. When a Player is eliminated, their Role is revealed to all Players. - What are the Roles of the Game? Fearing your swift death or having an itch for murder? Not to worry! Each Team is given Special Roles to help aid in their attempt to stop the enemy team. Each player is assigned a Role when the game begins. Team Camper will have multiple 'Camper' Roles and 1 of each Special Role Team Slasher will have multiple 'Slasher' Roles and 1 of each Special Role Camper Team Roles Slasher Team Roles - This Season's Twists In honor of the Camp-based movies of the 80's/90's, we're doing a take on the Rival Camp troupe! Twist #1 : Two Campsites Instead of 1 Camp, we're splitting y'all into 2 Camps! Camp De-Cap-A-Lot Camp Stabba-Ho In this twist, Players will be initially divided into one of the 2 Camps listed above. When in a Camp, Players can only Vote for Players within their own Camp. This means there's DOUBLE the Slashers and Double the Special Roles. Twist #2 : Camp Activities (and Merging Camps) In this twist, during the game, several events will occur that can either help or hinder your strategy. Tread wisely! I hate when games have 'surprise' twists that cause severe advantages/disadvantages midgame; So I'm revealing all the Events pre-game in fairness to all Players and allows y'all to strategize in advance. The Merging of the 2 Campsites will happen directly after the Séance Event as roughly half the Players will be eliminated by then. Twist #3 : The Kick-Vote Have a Player in your Camp thats a bit... suspicious... but can't kill them just yet? Well, Kick them out instead! Example Camper Vote: Canon, Brenda, and Cindy are all Players in Camp Stabba-Ho Canon chooses Brenda to be Vote-Killed Canon chooses Cindy to be Vote-Kicked After tallying all votes in Camp Stabba-Ho, Brenda received the majority votes to be Killed and was eliminated. After tallying all votes in Camp Stabba-Ho, Cindy received the majority votes to be Kicked and was sent to Camp De-Cap-A-Lot. - Additional Game Rules #1: Missing a Vote = Automatic Death Players will be given ample time to submit Votes of any kind. The first round begins on Saturday 17th, so sign up now! 📀 The Game 📀 For anybody who hasn’t taken part previously, Golden Hit put simply is a songwriting based game. The concept is easy to follow: each round, writers will be presented with unique weekly prompts designed to inspire players to write songs to be submitted for review by Golden Hit's judging panel. Providing detailed feedback through personalised reviews, our panel will assign each entry a score out of ten. Scores are averaged across the panel, determining each song's score and rank for the round from its overall average. In Golden Hit's finale, the scores from each round will be combined and averaged over the entire game, determining each writer's final combined average from every round and overall rank for their Golden Hit journey. This season we will also be introducing a mentor role to the game, with mentors being able to provide players further feedback and more in depth comments about works in progress, outside of the realm of judging. The Game: 16 contestants will be placed into the BB house where they will compete for Head of Household every round. The HOH will proceed to nominate two houseguests for eviction where they will be given the chance to win the veto to save themselves. If veto is used the HOH will nominate another houseguest to replace them. The two houseguests nominated on eviction day will have one final plea and then the rest of the house (except HOH unless a tie is involved) will vote one of the two nominees out. But be warned expect the unexpected as twist will occur and drama will ensue. WE ARE BACK WITH SEASON 13!! Since 2012, ATRL Survivor has crowned twelve winners (borntodie, Adr, –brian, Yvess, Element, URBAN, Aciid, kipperskipper, dussymob, Buddy!, boys, Rotunda). Now it's time to begin the thirteenth (!) installment of the Survivor franchise that began eleven years ago. How does the game of Survivor work? The Game: 22 contestants will be placed into tribes during the pre–merge phase. Each round before the Merge is quite simple to complete – you will be given a theme and must submit a song that best represents that theme. Once you send in a song and it hasn't been chosen, it's LOCKED in. The judging panel then rates your song on a scale of 1 to 10 based on how well it fits the theme. You and your tribe members' scores are tallied up, then averaged into one final number. The tribe with the lowest overall average then heads to Tribal Council where one member is voted off. The process repeats until a certain number of you remain (called the Merge) and your challenges then become more complex. Contestants then will become part of the Jury where they eventually vote for the winner. Reminders: We give the contestants 24 hours to send in a song (although it often takes less) during the beginning rounds.
