  2. Inspired in part by @WillieMonroe's Android thread (but also because it's about time): Welcome to The Apple Thread, the place for discussing all things Apple. Whether in the world of personal or mobile computing, retail innovation, or general cultural significance, this global, top-valued brand has broken some serious ground over its 40-year history. So, welcome and please respectfully enjoy your stay!

  5. Is there a way to select all my followers quickly on the Hide instagram story from screen? Like select "ALL". I only want a few people to see it and have it hidden fmo everyone else, but can't DM this to them. This is something they indirectly need to see, lol. Very specific situation.
  6. Chang now expects Apple to produce 15 million units of the tenth-anniversary model. That is a drop of 5 million handsets (25%) from his original prediction. For the second quarter, the analyst lowered his estimate by a whopping 44%, as he now sees 10 million iPhone X units rolling off the assembly line during the three months. He originally called for 18 million phones to be produced from April through June. Well dayum.
  7. not sure if any of y'all actually use Tidal HiFi but i have a question for those that do (and y'all can talk about the service itself/complaints if u want i guess) do any of you ever have issues with streaming lag? my wifi is more than capable of streaming lossless audio but at night i always run into issues with lag. sometimes a song will be stuck for minutes until it continues playing even if i quit the desktop app and try again. when this happens i can still stream other hd content fine from other services so i know it's not my internet. it seems like they just don't have the infrastructure for streaming so many very large files to so many people (nnn) and since night is when most people will be listening to music their servers just can't always handle it causing lag. really annoying bc i can easily tell the difference vs. spotify with my headphones but when i'm bopping to a song that buffers four times it kills the vibe lol. maybe i'll try deezer once my six month hifi trial expires
  8. Howdy ya'll. I'm a basic white gurl and I can't get my head around Proxys/VPNs and how they work. I'm using a Macbook and trying to listen to Spotify in different regions (NZ mainly ) but it never seems to work for me. Does anybody here have any experience in this field? Like what VPN you'd suggest? Should I use the web player instead of the app? Feel free to provide a detailed walkthrough, as I really am that dumb. Thankies.

  20. That top bezel looks a mess, not to mention this lilac color. It appears they've also drawn more inspiration from the iPhone, finally putting a dual camera on their primary flagship smartphone. With the cost of this projected to start at over $800 for the standard and $900 for the Plus model, I don't see these being successful.
