Ever since I was younger, I've always been obsessed with flags. From their bold and vibrant colours to their unique designs, flags have always been a symbol of identity and national pride. Here are some of my faves Brazil (adopted in 1889, she's aged well I fear!) Albania Mexico Belize (also the only national flag to have feet ) Reply with some cute flags you like!

This girl replied to a TikTok of some local bakery about their outrageous price for a basic ass cake and then got harassed by the owner and all of her friends. People have now gone after the bakery and they have deleted their Instagram. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZIJn4Aqgr/

What are some iconic threads from ATRL do you remember? 1. HDD - ARTPOP thread 2. Will Roar and Applause sound like Brave 3. Rihanna vs Ciara - Twitter feud thread 4. Not a thread but it was a comment in a thread "boiled as in turned into gas"?

Granted I know a loottt of people on here don't really like him, I DO KNOW that he has a huge fanbase and a lot of people that DO like him! He had one of the biggest peaks in Pop Music history, that ended up leading him to have some of the biggest songs ever in music and break countless touring records for multiple years straight. Even though now he's "flopping" in comparison to his previous eras, he was still a Pop Music phenomenon. So despite all of that, do y'all miss him??? And if so why??? And if you don't, why not???

Guess what flop? You traveled to an alternate reality where you are MARRIED! (if you are already married irl then congrats but you still get teleported) Your newly found partner is attractive, smart, considerate, etc. You actually kinda like it. But... one day, this new partner hears your loud ass phone playing your favorite artist. They immediately shut it down and ream at you for playing them and prohibits you to EVER play a song from them, for the rest of your life. What's the move? Divorce? Or do you accept their terms?

discussion 'The Good Doctor' brutally kills off gay character, fans outraged
Talento posted a topic in Entertainment
The Good Doctor TV show just brutally and unceremoniously killed off gay character Dr. Asher Wolke (played by Noah Galvin) and fans of the show aren't happy. Doctor Wolke has been a part of the show from seasons 4 through 7 and was one of the main characters. Thoughts? -
discussion Indiana Jones 5 caused $130 million dollar loss for Disney
AbeHicks posted a topic in Entertainment
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny failed to cover its costs at the box office according to financial statements released on Friday which show that Disney spent $134.2m more on making the movie than it is understood to have received in ticket sales. The film, features a digitally de-aged Ford. It came at a cost as the filings reveal that $79 million was spent on post-production work. Data from industry analyst Box Office Mojo shows that Dial of Destiny grossed $384 million, just 49% of the takings of its prequel, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Disney shot itself through the foot somewhat by launching the Disney+ streaming platform. Not only has it replaced the need to buy a DVD or Blu Ray, but Disney+ subscribers don't pay per movie. Instead they are billed monthly or annually and get access to a studio's entire library, along with any new content released during their subscription period. This means it isn't possible to attribute subscriber fees to specific productions, such as Dial of Destiny, and in turn that increases the need for pictures to succeed at the box office. The dismal performance of Dial of Destiny piles pressure on Disney's embattled chief executive Bob Iger who spearheaded the acquisition of Lucasfilm and the development of the movies which have yet to cover the cost of it. Combined with losses generated by Disney+ this has led to Disney's share price falling by around 40% since its peak of $201.91 in March 2021. https://www.forbes.com/sites/carolinereid/2024/03/31/indiana-jones-whips-up-130-million-loss-for-disney/ -

My favorite right now Tom Ford Noir Extreme Jo Malone Wild Bluebell I used Dior Sauvage before and I felt like it was too generic with no character, maybe it's too common since it's one if not the most popular man fragrance out there.

discussion Sad but true: Do gay relationships have a shorter shelf life than straights?
fememeist posted a topic in The Lounge
There was a reply on a Rosalia and Hunter Schafer dating thread that dating 5 months is equivalent to 2 years in the gay world. This brings up the topic—do you think gay relationships are shorter than straight relationships? If so, why is that? Is it because LGBT+ are more prone to cheating/infidelity? Shorter attention spans? -

discussion Using religion to minimize the impact of natural disasters
Symmetra posted a topic in The Lounge
Anyone else starting to get annoyed by various religions using their "god" as a way to minimize the tragedy of Natural Disasters? I'm starting to notice that anytime a natural disaster happens the nuts don't event give condolences or a RIP. They immediately resort to their "god" punishing humanity or some bullshit like that. Or how it's the end of times. Like Natural Disasters are a 2000 Invention.
