  1. When she got emotional watching Princess Diaries. So many emotions must come up for her while watching that one. Time is flying by for everyone.
  2. Ricky Martin spilled on all things related to his love life. The 52-year-old actor and musician split from his longtime husband Jwan Yosef in late 2023. While on Watch What Happens Live this week, Ricky revealed if he was seeing anyone or looking for love on dating apps like Raya. He also reflected on the sort of DMs that he receives after opening up about his foot fetish in an interview. He even weighed in on the age-old question: Does size matter? He cheekily told host Andy Cohen that the "size of the vessel is important." https://www.justjared.com/2024/03/22/ricky-martin-gives-dating-update-describes-himself-as-a-lover-talks-about-what-he-gets-in-his-dms-if-size-matters/

  4. In 2018, Shakira visited her grandmother's birthplace and planted two cedars in the local nature reserve. They are the national symbol of Lebanon. In honor of her visit, Mayor Bahaa Harb even ceremoniously named a place in the reserve after her: Shakira Isabel Mebarak Square. The wooden sign in Tannourine has now faded. And Bahaa Harb, deputy mayor, is disappointed; Shakira promised a donation to the reserve in front of a small group of official representatives. "She promised to give us $50,000,” Harb says. But she never sent the money. The donation was Shakira's idea. During her visit she saw a statue in honor of another donor - and then suggested she should also donate. A statue of her grandmother was supposed to be built in gratitude and $10k of the $50 promised had been intended for it. Part of her donation was intended to finance a solar system and water tanks. Bahaa Harb says he never heard from Shakira again after the visit. He tried to contact her twice, without success. His cousin, who is the consul in the Lebanese embassy in Colombia, also tried. "She just disappeared. I don't think she'll pay anymore.” For Bahaa Harb the case is closed. "I won't force her to pay" and at least someone else has donated to the water tanks in the meantime. There's only one thing he doesn't understand: "She suggested it herself. She didn't have to do that." https://www.tagesspiegel.de/interaktiv/sie-hatte-es-ja-nicht-versprechen-mussen-shakira-blieb-spende-schuldig-11401733.html

  9. On Air will plant one tree for every ticket purchased from their website for the Venus Tour show. Experience Zara Larsson's majestical, sold-out performance at AFAS Live in Amsterdam – available from 3 April in cinematic quality. The 1hr 15+ performance will be available to stream with unlimited replays for 1 year through the On Air website, mobile, and TV apps. Electropop queen Zara Larsson performs songs from her fourth studio album 'Venus', alongside fan-favourites 'Lush Life', 'I Would Like', 'Never Forget You' and 'Symphony', on her first European tour since 2019. Captured on 26 February 2024 at AFAS Live, the show features luscious pastel and magenta stage lighting, ethereal orbital-like visuals, a powerful female collective of musicians and dancers, plus all the frills and sparkle. Shooting to multi-platinum stardom over the past decade, Zara continues her reign of 'mothering' - sorry – owning the stage as if it were her last concert, radiating confidence, charm, and (unsurprisingly) some pretty killer dance moves in front of thousands of fans. https://onair.events/zara-larsson-venus-tour-live-concert-stream

  11. Mark Ruffalo was set to speak at MTMP, a conference for lawyers and their paralegals to discuss the ins and outs of class action lawsuits, etc. The event's organizers sent out a statement to the attendees this week saying Mark had been invited to speak at the conference after playing an environmental activist/attorney in the movie "Dark Waters" back in 2019 -- which touched on a lot of the things they already do in the real world ... so they wanted to have him show up and speak to the same issues. Ruffalo, an environmental activist himself, was set to be a big-time guest for the conference, but the event said this was before Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7 and more importantly, before Ruffalo's very public support of Palestine. The organizers of the MTMP conference say they didn't want the event to be overshadowed by the war in the Middle East. "We understand that the Israeli-Hamas war is a critically important issue to most of our MTMP family. The feelings we all have deserve to be discussed. However, I do not want the good meaning of our conference to get consumed by that discussion." Full statement below:
  12. 6 months after Sam Smith and Normani beat a copyright lawsuit over their 2019 hit “Dancing With a Stranger,” a federal judge is refusing to force their accuser to reimburse their legal fees — a bill the stars say exceeded $700,000. Normani and Sam have argued that they shouldn't be forced to foot the huge bill they incurred fending off the “frivolous and unreasonable" lawsuit, which claimed the duo had copied a little-known 2015 song.” While U.S. District Judge Wesley L. Hsu dismissed the lawsuit last year, he ruled Monday that the case was not so completely baseless as to warrant punishing the accuser with paying the stars' massive legal bill. Judge Hsu did rule that Smith and Normani could recover their legal “costs" from the plaintiffs, but such awards are typically far smaller than awards of attorney's fees. In earlier court filings, attorneys for Smith and Normani calculated such costs at $10,173.
