Wow, no wonder Madonna topped Mediatraffic WW so many times. She's so global. :jonny5:

:dies::dies:

Mediatraffic counds airplay and Madonna has always been huge in countries outside the USA.

As an example, Masterpiece from MDNA is still to this day the biggest airplay hit fn the decade by any pop girl in Russia :deadbanana2:

True Blue - Was #1 in the European Hot 100, hit #3 in the USA, also #1 in Canada. Sales only. How is the #1 WW so hard to beleve?

Open Your Heart - #4 in Europe, #1 in the USA. Sales only.

Cherish - #3 in Europe, #2 in the USA, #1 in Canada, #4 in Australia. Sales only. Not too hard to imagine it being #1 WW, depending on what was blocking them in each place. No one was global as Madonna back then.

This Used To Be My Playground - #1 in the USA and Canada, #2 in European Hot 100. Why is the #1 even a question?

American Pie - Now i know you're trolling. Literally #1 in Australia, Billboard's European Hot 100 for 7 weeks and peaked at #29 in the USA with airplay ONLY (which is also counted for Mediatraffic btw)

Don't Tell Me - Huge airplay gainer for weeks until its peak. One of Madonna's biggest and most organic hits in the USA. #1 in Canada, #4 in the USA, #2 in the European Hot 100, #1 in New Zealand. If this is not global, i don't know what is.

Die Another Day and American Life were #1 due to 2 things. Single sales were dead and airplay was the biggest factor for them to be this high. Still both were #1 in Canada, one was #8 in the USA and one was #2 in Europe while the other was #3. Both were really big airplay hits though and were the biggest airplay gainers for multiple weeks.

Sorry - #1 in European Hot 100 for 4 consecutive weeks. #2 in Canada #4 in Australia. #1 in multiple countries airplay wise. Huge everywhere except the USA.
