Rentboy
Ed gifted her this #1 in truth. he coulda chose any number of artists to release a remix version with. Its not like she has a proven record of making songs go to #1 with her featured presence. The song needed to be huge to begin with.

If Love On Top was released before the VMA pregnancy announcement, it prolly wudda went #1.

Ascension
Just now, ChartsFan said: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0032138/fullcredits the word uncredited appears over 100 times. just like today's charting albums and singles, many more people today are getting their actual contributions acknowledged and in print, that's a good thing. It's still also a factor to keep in mind of something that has changed over the w4s and affects achievements on the charts. Okay, all that's nice, but has absolutely nothing to do with the point of your original analogy. In the quote trail I was laughing at, it appears you're attempting to analogize getting credited for contributing to changes to the song's musical composition with getting credit on a movie for dusting the film set which makes absolutely no sense. If Countdown has was released first it would be #1. If Love On Top was released before the VMA pregnancy announcement, it prolly wudda went #1. No, there really isn't any way that the R&B album 4 would get any #1's in 2011. Run The World was realistically the safest choice for 2011. Digitalism
Why I don't get is why the hive thinks people are fuming about the #1 I think most of us would be happy if It was a #1 of a solo song of hers or of feature where she put some kind of effort This strategy to get the easy #1 seems below Bey's power
