"All pop stars are struggling to have great hits," he said. "Taylor Swift just had to surrender the first position to Cardi B, a rapper, and then Post Malone, another rapper. ... If five years ago you said that would happen, I'd never have believed you."

Well, the musical climate has shifted out of their favor.

Its still rude rude to say it. Let them flop in peace.

Where was he last decade when R&B and Hip Hop took over in the USA? I remember Hollaback Girl (in 2005) being the first #1 hit in the USA that wasn't R&B/Hip-Hop since Nickelback's How U Reming Me (2001). The exception being 2 American Idol's winners :deadbanana2:

The current climate in the music industry in US SUCKS BIG TIME right now.

It’s like we were invaded by trashy mumble rappers and their nasty style. And also the reggeaton latino is AWFUL.

I think EDM needs to make a comeback and the pop stars will benefit from it.

We need actual music back.

Is not pop girls fault :cm: the billboard 100 is tragic today  :emofish:  Teens are just here for thrash :fan:

Bring back nice R&B-Hip Hop-EDM-Rock-Indie-HQ Latino music to the mainstream :fish2:

EDM is not cool right now, the pop stars would be smashing cause most of them could do vocals.

Is that nasty rap plague the one that needs to go right now.

And females flopping is more because almost none does rap.

because the current taste of music by the people streaming and consuming songs is also declining like duhh. I don't know why some of these generic and trashy songs are being called as hits nowadays. And some of these trashy hits are even produced by this trashy producer
